Chapter 17 - Cade's POV
I survived the rest of the day trying my best not to think about lunch. Gage waited for me outside of my last hour so he could drive me home. We walked to his car and got in. He dropped me off at my house and I went inside. I went into my bedroom to do some homework, when the phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Cade? It's Daryn," The voice replied.
"Oh..what do you want?" I asked.
"Cade look I am so sorry for what I did, you don't even know how much guilt I have," He started.
"You should of thought of that before you were a bully," I said sternly.
"Cade I'm really sorry, I truly am," He said, choking back tears.
"Well sorry doesn't bring Camdon back alive does it?" I asked coldly.
"No...I'm sorry I did this, I'm so sorry Cade," He said, before I heard a gun shot.
"Oh my god. Daryn?" I asked, my voice filled with fear.
There was no answer. I dropped the phone and slid down the wall. I couldn't cry, because he was my love's murderer, but I couldn't be happy. Daryn had shot himself as a result of his bullying, and I had no clue what to think.
