Let's Face the Facts
I can't believe that we haven't found my daughter and I'm starting to think that I'll never see her again. Maybe I should face the facts that she may be dead. Wait! What the hell am I saying? We have to find her! There's no way in hell I'm quitting. She's my own flesh and blood and I know if I was missing she would want to go o until I was found. We've checked almost everywhere though. We checked the town, parts of the woods, and we've even drove down the road a few miles and checked abandoned houses but she was no where to be found.
"Zacky...man I don't even like what I'm about to say but I think we should call off the search."
"No Brian." I said shaking my head as I looked out the window in the living room.
"Zacky, it's been 7 weeks. There's no way she could still be alive."
"How dare you Brian! You never talk that way to a man who's child is missing. Anyways, how I hell could you give up on your own niece like that? She wouldn't want us to stop looking if it was one of us out there." Jimmy said angrily
"I'm just stating a fact Jimbo. I mean we've practically looked everywhere."
"I think a team of 2 should go into the woods and search plus camp out for a few days. If she's found then someone will call one of us and have whoever is here come and get them." Johnny said actually making some sense for the first time in his life.
"I think Short Shit is right. I know we've went into the woods and checked some parts of it but we've always headed back here when it was getting dark.
"I know for sure that I'm going." I said getting my bag to start loading some food and weapons.
"I'll go too. Brian, you stay here with Johnny and Jimmy." I finished packing up some food, extra ammo, and weapons before leaving the house.
"If we don't find her, we should be back in about a week. If something happens call mine or Zacky's cell." Matt said as he came out of the house.
"Alright. You guys be careful and bring back our little niece." we waved goodbye to the others before entering into the woods in search of my precious flower.
"Zacky...man I don't even like what I'm about to say but I think we should call off the search."
