Wanted

We're staying at a hotel in Jeju Island, and after a couple of days, Adam is invited to a party.

"Hey. I really need you to go to this party with me, okay?" said Adam.
"It's for what again?" I replied with much annoyance.
"Y'know, for stars— for famous people."
"And tell me— WHY exactly were you invited?"
"Hey! That's taboo, babe!"
"I'm kidding, haha. I love you."
"You too."

The next night, we came to the party. Wow, Adam wasn't kidding. I saw a lot of Korean superstars in that event, but some were unfamiliar. Maybe they're the present superstars.

Amidst the large crowd, Adam and I came face-to-face with someone I didn't want to meet ever again. He was walking hand-in-hand with a woman I didn't know. He stared at me, and I stared at him, which was really awkward. He managed to form a smirk, and up to this time I didn't know how he mustered up the courage to do that. I never returned that smirk.

"Hi, Adam and.. uh, hello."
