Vampire Academy

Olive Heartstrong, daughter of the Demon of the Far East and the Sorceress of the Vile, is sent to Vampire Academy by the council fearing for her safety after the murder of her parents. With the name Heartstrong holding a terrible image of murder and crime, many of the students are unhappy with her arrival, fearing the safety of the Academy and themselves. No one is quite sure who is responsible for the murders of Alexander and Fiona Heartstrong, until death itself comes creeping in the dark of the night, looking for the key to the lock that will resurrect those deader than the vampires themselves. The key; a heart blacker than black, a heart which resides only within the chest of Vampire Academy's own, Olive Heartstrong.
