Ember is a 16 year old girl who is in her junior year of High School. Her parents are divorced and she lives with her alcoholic mother. Her best friend is Cassidy, who Ember recently moved away from to another state. Ember deals with O.C.D. and A.D.H.D. as well as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, self harm, suicidal thoughts, and a bit of schizophrenia at times. And this is her story.

Cassidy - Ember's best friend; her and Ember have been friends since they were in the 4th grade, and have gotten closer as the years went by; female; 5'3; long brown hair, grey eyes; very similar to Ember in just about every way, shape, and form
Ember's mom - 5'4; female; short brown hair like Ember's, blue eyes; alcoholic, and kind of abusive to Ember
Conner - friend of Ember; 5'8; male; short, curly brownish hair, and icy blue eyes; met Ember about a year ago; secretly has a crush on her but is too scared to tell her
