“Reylyn,” a chorus of screams echoed through the door. I rolled over in my sheets praying that it was a dream.
“Get your ass up, Knight!” The unmistakeable sound of Loza’s voice infultraited my room.
“No,” I wined from underneath the covers. I knew they probably couldn’t hear me, but I wasn’t expecting a heaping pile of bodies on top of me.
“What in the…” I trailed off as Pastrana’s smile came into view.
“Danny gave me the key. Loza said you promised to ride the big ramp with us, so come on,” he laughed as he pulled the covers from between us. I looked around to see Loza beside me, Deegan on top of Pastrana. There were even a few faces I didn’t recognize.
“I can’t come on,” I wined in Pastrana’s ear.
“Well, why not,” he pouted.
“You’re crushing my rib cage,” I gasped.
He laughed as he pushed upward causing Deegan to fall off him and a few others to roll in the floor, “why didn’t you say so sooner?”
“Shut up!” I half growled as I pushed myself onto my elbows. “Now get off my bed and out of my room so I can get decent.”
The boys stopped and stared at me, the girls laughed at the boys, and Pastrana was blushing madly. I rolled my eyes as I shifted onto one elbow and shoved him in the floor. “I am wearing P.Js you perverted dicks. Now get the hell out!”
Everyone cleared out, but Loza lingered behind. I wrapped my blanket around myself as I walked behind him to lock the door. “Hey, if you still want help, we can try swimming tonight in the pool. I asked Danny and he said there was like a private pool out behind the ramp.”
“Um, water…” I started, but he was giving me this evil eye type of look.
“We’ll try swimming, but the shallow end only! No deep stuff yet,” I warned.
“No,” he smiled mischeviously, “we’ll save the deep stuff for later.”
I raised an eyebrow at him as he continued grinning from ear to ear. “Mr. Kyle Loza, am I going to have to remind you that you’re a married man talking to a single girl that way?”
He laughed. “I know exactly who I’m talking to, Miss Reylyn Knight.” I rolled my eyes and slammed the door in his face. My heart pounded wildly in my chest, and I knew that I wouldn’t just get over my fears with Kyle. I had to get over this little girl crush before it got me into too much trouble.
