My Fallen Angel

Chapter 15

The days after the anniversary of Ryan's passing got a little easier to handle and I had a demo with Bam, we were both skating in tribute to Ryan and in honor of his memory. I redyed my hair back to the lighter red wth black layers and I put purple tips in, I got the idea from TNA Knockout, Angelina Love, she put purple tips and black tips in her blonde hair and I smiled brightly, decked out in a Batman tank top, black ripped skinny jeans and combat boots, I was ready to rock and I wore purple Electric sunglasses. I felt happier to be doing something like this for Ryan. He would've loved it. I began grinding a rail, Bam was skating behind me and he copied my moves. As I kickflipped and landed and began to manual, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I stopped and pulled it out of my pocket. It was from Twitter. I opened up the message and I saw this tweet from Andy:

@AndyBVB: BVB Army! I have great news! I'm going to be doing a project with the one and only Chris Jericho and Fozzy!

My mouth dropped in shock. Black Veil Brides and Fozzy?! I thought. No way! That means I get to meet Chris Jericho! I've idolized Chris Jericho since I was a little girl. He's an amazing talent and I loved his craft with Fozzy. His band is amazing as well. I've been to a few concerts and I have all of Fozzy's albums. I was excited for my husband and the fact that I get to meet one of my idols. I retweeted Andy, kicked up my board and sat on the bench and posted this:

@Faith_Blackburn: @AndyBVB, that's great, Light! I can't wait to see what you and Chris Jericho have planned! #FozzyMeetsBVB

I smiled and went along on my skate session at Rob's safe spot skate spot. I couldn't wait to meet Jericho. I couldn't wait. I began a laser flip to fakie and I manualed and did a tailslide on the rail before my phone began ringing, 'In The End' by Black Veil Brides and I knew it was Andy. I answered it.

"I take it you saw," Andy said.

"Yep. So, Black Veil Brides and Fozzy? How'd that happen?" I asked.

"Well, Matt Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold was going to be the one that Jericho wanted to do the song with, but Matt's busy with another album, so, Jericho called me and we're doing 'Sandpaper' together." He told me. I squealed softly and Andy laughed. This was the one good thing I was looking forward to. Meeting Jericho. One of my biggest idols since childhood.

"That's great, Light. When do you start?"

"Well, Jericho's gonna be at the studio first thing in the morning." Andy replied. "And yes, you can come. Just don't spaz in front of Y2J. Please?"

"I'm not making any promises," I told him. He scoffed and I giggled.

"Aw, come on, Light. You're working with one of my biggest idols! You gotta let me get away with it."

"Fine," He said. "Only because he's an idol to you, Faith."

"I'm happy for you, Light." I said.

"Thank you, Faith. Alright, baby. I gotta go. I'll see you when you get back. I love you."

"I love you, Light."

I closed my phone and headed over to Bam, who was standing, with his board up and I smiled brightly. Bam looked at me weirdly and rolled his eyes. I couldn't stop smiling because I get to meet Jericho tomorrow! I'm so excited.

"What are you all smiles about, Lace?" Bam asked, knocking me back to reality.

"Andy's got a huge project. He's going to be doing a song with Fozzy!" I said, a squeal escaping my throat. Bam's mouth dropped.

"Fozzy? As in Chris Jericho's band? Are you serious?" Bam said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"That's awesome!" Bam smiled brightly.

"I can't wait. They're doing a song called 'Sandpaper'." I told him.

"Can't wait to hear it."

The following morning, Andy prodded me awake and we headed to the studio. I wore my Black Veil Brides hoodie, my Young & Reckless 'Reckless Til I'm Breathless' shirt, black jeans and DC's. I had my red hair in a ponytail as we waited for Chris Jericho to arrive. I got nervous and Andy took my hand, it was the first time I was meeting my idol and I didn't know how to act around him. I sighed and I then saw Jericho, he wore a tight black shirt, a gray suit jacket, black jeans and boots. He had a pair of sunglasses on as well. My mouth dropped. Andy smirked at my reaction.

"Ah. Andy Biersack," Jericho said. "It's nice to finally meet you."

"You too, Jericho." Andy replied. "This is my wife, Lacey. She's a huge fan of yours."

"Nice to meet you, Lacey," Jericho extended his hand to me and I took it before he kissed my hand and I smiled. Andy narrowed his eyes and I giggled.

"It's an honor for my husband to be working with you, Chris. I love you and your band so much and you're one of my idols," I said.

"Well, thanks. Black Veil Brides have become a huge sensation right now, so, I'm honored to work with Andy."

"Thank you, Jericho," Andy told him.

We headed inside and I sat down on the couch and watched as Andy and Jericho got to work. I was still in shock that I was in the same room with Chris Jericho, my childhood idol. I just loved it, though, because it was an amazing sight. Hearing Andy and Jericho's voices as one and it brought a smile to my face. I then opened up Twitter on my phone and I then sent my first tweet of the morning:

@Faith_Blackburn: In the studio on this marvelous morning with Chris Jericho and my amazing hubby, @AndyBVB. Can't wait for you to hear it! #MagicBeingMade #Sandpaper

I got a retweet from Rob amd Bam and I smirked as I turned to listen to Andy sing the second verse and the chorus of 'Sandpaper'.

"Flash paper burns to the bone, melting away without a moan
Blowtorch my brain away, there's nothing left for me to pray
Eroding all that I've become, taking and breaking all that I've won
Decoding thoughts within my mind, bleeding and feeding what I might find

"Something happens when the dark meets the light,
Something happens when you start up the fight,
Something happens when the sun turns to grey,
Something happens when you scare the monsters away." Andy sang with an amazing ease and I smiled.

I loved how the song was turning out and I couldn't wait for the fans to hear it, I couldn't. Just having Jericho and Andy singing together is incredible. It was a real work of art. The outcome was going to be amazing and I couldn't wait. I smiled as Andy brought me to him. I stared into his warm ice blue eyes.

"What do you think, Faith?" He asked.

"I love it. Your voice and Jericho's, are amazing as one." I replied. He kissed my cheek softly, making me blush and he chuckled against my skin. My phone buzzed and I grabbed it, tellng me that I got another message from Twitter and it was from Bam:

Bam_Margera: @Faith_Blackburn @IAmJericho @AndyBVB when that song is out, I wanna direct the video. #Sandpaper

I rolled my eyes and Andy laughed softly and kissed my temple.

"Let me guess, Bam wants to direct the video for 'Sandpaper'?" Andy asked. I nodded.

"That's a great idea," Jericho commented. "Bam would be a great director for the video."

"Then I'll let him know," I said. I then txted Bam the details. Andy smiled and he wrapped his arm around me and held me to him. This was going to be the best project ever, Fozzy meets Black Veil Brides. This is gonna be awesome. Andy kissed my forehead and I inhaled his scent as the day carried on.
