In the End

Chapter 32

I woke up the next morning to a warm, loving and tender embrace. I smile because I know that Andy's already awake, because he always runs his fingers through my hair and rubs my back when we wake up after making love the night before. It's such a wonderful feeling and it's just too perfect. I then look up at him, my chin laying perfectly on his chest. A tender smile comes across Andy's face and love glimmers in his icy blue eyes. I feel his fingers lift my chin up so our lips met in a tender kiss and I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers in his hair. We pulled away and I smiled at him as he pecked my temple.

"Good morning, my beautiful Faith." Andy's voice, even though there was some sleep in it, was warm and sweet and I melted at the sound.

"Good morning, Light." I whispered. Andy then started placing little warm kisses on my face and down my neck and to my throat and passed my shoulders and to the tops of my breast, making me giggle softly and shiver at the coldness of his nose ring on my skin. He smiled at the sound I made and then decided to flip me onto my back and so that he could lean over me. He then continued his trail of soft and warm kisses down my body and scars and I closed my eyes at the feeling.

"Moonlight," I whined softly, yanking on his long black hair gently, to get him to look at me again. "You're making it hard to get up."

"I can't help it, Faith." Andy murmured, crawling up to me and smirking and pecking my lips. "You're so beautiful."

He then took my hands in his and intertwined them beside us on the bunk. I then blushed and Andy chuckled softly, moving so that he was on his side, facing me. I couldn't help but resist the urge to get up and to just lay there and snuggle with Andy some more. But not for long because today, my band was playing the Shark Main Stage in San Antonio, which is where we had arrived in over the night. Plus, I had to change clothes and stuff. After just kissing Andy some more, I went to get up, but Andy's arms snaked around me again, making me squeal softly and pulled me back into his chest.

"Nope," Andy whispered. "You're staying with me."

"Andy." I squeaked softly. "I have to get up at some point. I have a set to do and a signing I gotta be."

Andy pouted at me, he looked like a little kid and it made me giggle softly.

"Lacey. Can't I just hold you for a little bit longer?" Andy starts nuzzling into me and he kisses along my throat again, making me bite back a moan.

"Light." I plead, softly.

"Come on, Faith. You know you want to." Andy said.

"I do, but not today." I told him and slipped out of his arms and his warm embrace. He sighed and followed suit as I changed into my outfit for the day: An Iron Fist 'Loose Tooth' tanktop that has a skull on the front, a Jawbreaker mini skirt and my Iron Fist black ankle booties. I put my hair up into a ponytail, I wore a pair of gothic sword earrings, a sideways cross ring, a half moon ring and a set of gold bracelets with spikes on them. I smiled as I watched Andy get ready for the day with me.

"You're missing something," Andy said, walking up to me and his fingers moved my ponytail to the side. I watched with an eyebrow raised as he slipped my crescent moon necklace on me, the necklace that I took off and gave to him when we were fighting. A small gasp came through my lips as I had completely forgotten about the necklace.

"I'm surprised you held on to it," I murmured, as Andy pressed kisses onto my collarbone.

"Of course, my love." His breath lingered against my skin.

I then turned around and I wrapped my arms around his neck, his hands laying on my hips.

"Thank you for holding on to it." I pecked him on the lips. Andy smiled and kissed me once before letting me go so he could change.

After changing into a black tanktop and his black shorts, and running his fingers through his hair, Andy extended his hand to me and I took it and we walked over to the Shark Main Stage where my band was waiting for me. As I got ready to head on stage, Andy took my wrist, spun me around and kissed me softly. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Have a good show, honey." He said. I pecked his lips.

"I will." I said, as I headed out on stage and the crowd went nuts. A smile came across my face as I started singing 'Going To Hell'. As I was performing my set, I was walking back and forth on stage and rocking out with the crowd, I then tripped on something, I couldn't tell what it was, and I fell. A sick crack like sound came from my right wrist, the same wrist that I had sprained before when I went skateboarding. The crowd went silent as I stood up, and I saw a cord that was laying across the stage. Shrugging it off and thinking that one of the sound crew did it, I finished my set. But my wrist was burning and throbbing as soon as I got off stage. Andy then walked up to me and he pulled me into him and when he pulled back, he looked me up and down, to make sure I was okay.

"I saw you fall on stage," Andy said, moving a strand of hair from my face. "You okay, honey?"

"I'll be fine, babe." I said, kissing him softly. "Just a sprained wrist. No big deal."

He nodded and we walked, hand in hand over to the medics so I can get my wrist looked at, and it was, indeed sprained again. They put a cast on my wrist to keep it in place until it healed.

As we were walking to my signing for the day, as I greeted the fans, I couldn't help but notice that Andy was deep in thought. I sighed and continued meeting fans and listening to their stories of how much me and my band meant to them. Andy's probably thinking that somebody rigged this so I could get hurt. I thought. After the signing, I approached Andy and I noticed that he was scanning the crowds, looking for that person who did this to me so he could beat the shit out of them. I put my hand on his shoulder and his eyes left the crowd and looked at me.

"Light," I said. "I'm fine. It was just an accident."

He shook his head and he pulled me into him by my waist and sighed, his chin laying on my head.

"I know someone did this. I swear to fucking God, I'll find the fucking person responsible for hurting you." Andy's voice sounded calm, but I could tell that he was angry. I took a breath again.

"What if it was just a cord that fell off of something and caused it to happen? You don't know what caused this." I said. "I'm fine. I'm not seriously injured."

"But, you could've been," Andy looked down at me and instead of continuing any further, he takes a deep breath to calm himself down and he squeezes me to him. "I just don't want you to get hurt again."

Then it made sense. He didn't like seeing me get hurt because it always angered and hurt him. I then sighed and ruffled Andy's hair with my bandaged hand, making him smile and he kissed me softly.

"I'm sorry, honey." Andy murmured. "I just hate seeing something bad happen to you. Sometimes, I just feel like I should just protect you from everything and I know that I can't do that."

"It's okay." I whispered. "I do appreciate it when you do protect me, Light. You always keep me safe."

Andy smiled and squeezed me tightly to him again and we walked back to my bus. As we headed inside my bus, I couldn't help but notice that there was a pair of figures standing outside, dressed in black and looking rather creepy. I shrugged it off, thinking it was probably a couple of fans. We stayed inside my bus until BVB's set and then we headed off to the next venue. I just took a breath as I looked out the window of the bus as it went down the highway. Something about that person that I saw today gave me the sense that it wasn't a fan. Maybe Andy might be right, it might've been the person who caused me to break my wrist on stage today. Or I'm just being paranoid. I thought.

"Faith?" I turned to face Andy who had a simple smirk on his face. He brushed his hand across my cheek and moves a strand of hair behind my ear. I just nuzzled my face into his touch. "What is it, my love? What's on your mind?"

"What if you're right, Light?" I said and he raised a brow in wonder.

"About what, baby?"

"What happened today when I fell on stage," I told him.

"Are you starting to think that someone did this to you?" He asked. I swallowed softly and nodded slowly.

"I don't know anyone who would do this," I said. "Outside of Blaze."

"Honey," Andy's arms wrapped around me and he gently squeezed me to him, his chin resting on my head. "Blaze's dead. So there's no way he could be responsible for doing this."

"I know he's dead, Light." I replied. "I'm trying to figure out who else that has the motivation to come after me."

"It doesn't matter who it is or what their reason for coming after you is," Andy murmured. "I won't let anyone lay a single finger on you."

I sighed and just looked to Andy for comfort and protection, as I always do when things start to go wrong and I need my rock. Andy runs his fingers through my hair and he places a kiss onto my head and I curl into him, resting my head on his chest.

"Go back to sleep, baby." He whispered. "We're almost there."

I nodded and closed my eyes and rested against Andy and fell back asleep.

Things kind of settled down after the next few days, we went to Saint Petersburg, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Virginia Beach, Camden, Hartford and Darien Center, and I didn't see any suspicious looking people at those venues and my wrist has healed nicely and I was able to get that cast off my wrist. The buses headed to Cincinnati, Ohio next, which is Andy's hometown. Andy, Blayde and I were greeted by his parents and they brought his grandmother along as well. Even though I was happy to see them, I still felt a little worried that I might see that person again and I was on edge. I was dressed in a white top that said 'Be Afraid' and an Iron Fist skirt with the bottom of a skeleton on it, and my Iron Fist boots. I then felt arms around me and I jumped and came face to face with my boy. Andy chuckled at me and I crossed my arms, not in the mood by his silliness.

"Lacey," Andy's voice softened and I watched him take my hands in his. He pulled me into his warm and long arms. "Stop worrying so much, baby."

"I can't, Andy." I said. "I'm scared that someone's gonna hurt me again and make this tour a living hell for me."

"I'm not gonna let that happen," He whispered. "As long as I'm around, nobody is gonna harm you. I've protected you from Blaze before, that won't stop me from protecting you now. Always."

He kissed me then, and I felt his comfort in that kiss and his protection. I wrap my arms around him and when we pull apart, Andy leaned his forehead on mine before taking one of our intertwined hands and spinning me in a circle. I couldn't help but giggle.

"You had to do that, didn't you?" I said, between giggles. He smiled and pecked my lips.

"Anything to make you smile, my love." He told me.

"You're too much," I said.

"But you love me," Andy said.

"And sometimes I wonder why." I shoved him, playfully and rolled my eyes at him as he chuckled again before he went to take the stage with his brothers. I sighed and watched from side stage with my arms crossed. During the set, Andy's eyes would meet mine, to make sure that I'm okay and I reassured him with a small smile.

As BVB got off stage, Andy walked up to me and he pulled me into him once more. This time, I relaxed in his arms and he swayed us a little bit. He kissed my temple.

"Everything's gonna be okay," He murmured. "We'll get through this. We always do."

I nodded against him and he kissed me once more before we headed back towards the buses and I let go of Andy's hand to head to my bus, the discovery I saw before me, shocked me. The bus was damaged and there was graffiti on the exterior of it, saying nasty things like 'bitch, whore' and the windows were broken and the tires were flat. I guess I was wrong about the people not being here. I screamed.

"Lacey!" I heard Andy's voice as I sank down to my knees sobbing. Andy ran up to my bus and knelt down in front of me.

"Lacey. Baby, what's wrong? Why'd you scream?" He said. My response was a point to the bus and he turned around. His jaw dropped in shock and I saw anger come over him.

"Holy fuck," Andy said.

"You were right, Andy. There is someone who wants me dead!" I sobbed and sobbed. Andy just comforted me and I saw Ashley, CC, Jake and Jinxx walk up and they all had a look of disbelief on their faces.

"What the hell happened?" CC asked.

"Someone wrecked Lacey's bus." Andy said, even though he was calm, he was angry.

"Who would do something like this?" Jake asked and Andy shook his head.

"I don't know but I'm gonna get to the bottom of this," Andy told him before looking down at me. "Come on, honey. Let's go back to my bunk. Guys, if you can, grab whatever's left of Lacey's stuff and bring it onto our bus."

Andy then lifted me up into his arms and I just buried my head into his shoulder and cried. Andy was right all along. There's somebody who wants me dead. I stayed silent as Andy carried me into BVB's bus and he opened up the curtain to his bunk and lay me down. I just turned on my side and sniffled softly. Andy pulled me into him and he kissed the back of my neck.

"I promise you, I will find the fucker responsible for doing this," Andy whispered in my ear. All I could do was nod and sniffle again. I hope Andy made sure on his promise to stop whoever did this to my bus and to whoever wants me dead or is coming after me. I then turned and faced Andy. A tear fell down my face and he wiped it away with the pad of his thumb. He stroked my jawline with that same thumb and he kissed my forehead.

"I'll always protect you, my love." He said. "You're safe with me. Nobody's gonna lay a goddamn finger on you."

I nodded slowly and moved so my head was on his chest. He kissed my temple once more and he held me close.

"I love you," I said, softly.

"I love you more, baby." Andy kissed me softly. And somehow, that seemed like enough to make me go to sleep. And so I did.

I stood outside of one of the venues, I was walking alone, it was dark and rainy. I kept walking, calling out to see anyone was there and there wasn't a single person in sight. I then see two figures approaching me, it took me a moment to see that it was Blaze's thugs that he hired that shot me back at the concert when I was on tour with Arch Enemy and Devilment. I screamed and took off, them following suit at the same pace as mine.

"Leave me alone!" I screamed. But all they did was laugh. I kept running, my lungs burned and ached. Until I tripped and fell, the two thugs walked up to me and one of them reached into a pocket of their jacket and pulled out a switchblade.

"Blaze may be dead," One of them said. "But we still have a job to do and that is to eliminate you."

I screamed as they came closer to me.

"Lacey!" I woke up in a cold sweat and shaking. Andy looked at me and he had his hands on my shoulders, trying to wake me up. He had a look of worry on his face. I started crying again and he held me close as I cried.

"Shh. It's only a dream, Faith. It's not real. No one's gonna hurt you." Andy murmured, stroking my hair and rubbing my back. "I got you. I always got you."

"L-Light." I sobbed and Andy shushed me and he wiped my tears away. He started softly singing to me to calm me down. Once I calmed down, Andy kissed me softly before pulling me back into his chest.

"You wanna talk about it?" He murmured, moving my hair away from my face. And so I did. I told him about the dream. "You think Blaze's thugs are behind this?"

"It would make sense," I said. "They shot me and all."

His grip tightened around my waist and his hand lay on my hip.

"If it's them that's causing this, they're gonna pay. Big time," Andy's voice was full of rage. "Those fuckers won't know what hit them."

"I'm scared, Light." I whimpered. "What if they shoot me again?"

"Shush, honey." Andy told me. "You don't need to be. They're not gonna do a single fucking thing. I won't let it happen. Listen to me. Nothing is gonna stop me from keeping you safe."

That's where I loved Andy the most, when he's protective of me. He's told me before that I'm his heart and he won't let anyone come near or hurt his heart. I then kissed him again, sliding my arms around his neck and tangling my hands in his hair. We pulled apart and he just pecked my lips. I then curl into him and I fall into a dreamless sleep.
