Maybe Love is Fair Sometimes

He slowly moves his hand from mine and places them on my knees. Fuck, I'm scared shit less. What if he says no? Maybe Jake was wrong. Andy just keeps looking at me then down at the ring then back at me. I don't know how I'd handle him saying no.

"Outlaw....." He whispers

"Yeah baby?"

He pauses and a small smile appears on his lips.

"Yeah."

Excuse me? Did he just say yeah, as in yeah he'll marry me?!

"Wh-what?"

He leaps forward and connects our lips putting his hands on my face, his finger tips on my cheek bones. He pulls away for a moment and says,

"Yes yes yes Outlaw! Yes I'll marry my Outlaw!"

With a smile I reconnect our lips. I pull him into my lap and he straddles me with our lips still connected. This is it, this is forever, he said yes. I break the kiss and smile at my soon to be husband. Andy smiles hugely at me, showing off all his teeth. I take his hands from my face putting them between us.

"Now, would you like that ring?"

Andy's face lights up as he nods. I grab the box from beside him, taking out the ring I slip it on his ring finger then lay a light kiss where the ring now sets. I rest my forehead on his chest and smile down at his hand. It hasn't hit me yet that he actually said yes to spending forever with me, I couldn't be more excited. He lifts my head and kisses me again.

"And thank you, for adding the fan into this Outlaw."

"Of course, I know how you like having them apart of things."

"Is being my Outlaw really what you love most, or was that just to sweet talk me?"

With a light laugh I say,

"No no baby, it really is what means the most to me. Even if the rest of my life fell to hell, I'd be okay with that as long as I'm still your Outlaw."

A blush spreads across his face as he smiles at me.

"Hey, wanna go tell the guys?"

With an excited nod he gets off me and runs to the door frame. Turning around he looks at me slowly getting up.

"Come on Outlaw" He whines like a child

"I'm coming I'm coming."

As soon as I'm by him he rushes down the stairs and almost trips over his own feet twice.

"Guys! Guys!" Andy yells

He's bouncing around the room, you can tell he is trying contain himself. It makes me even happier to know I'm the cause of his joy. C.C. comes running in and you can tell he thinks there is something seriously wrong. If I didn't know what was going on I'd think so too. Soon Jake runs into the back of C.C. coming into the room. Jake looks over at me and as soon as he sees my smile I think he out it together because a hide smile appeared on his face too. C.C. walks over and grabs Andy by the shoulders to stop his bouncing and asks,

"What is going on Andy?"

After he catches his breath he looks at me and smiles even larger then looks back at our drummer.

"Ash asked me to marry him and....and...I said yes!" Andy cheers

After C.C. processes what was said he starts doing this odd happy dance. Jake walks over to me and smiles.

"I told you."

I jokingly push him and say,

"Yeah yeah. And thank you."

"For what?"

"For helping me, pushing me forward when I for scared and thought about backing out. For everything Jake."

"Of course Ash, you're my brother. And it's for our Andy, it's great to see the kid like this. Whens the last time we saw him bounce around like this?"

"Damn, back when we found out we would be tracking We Stitch These Wounds."

"Exactly, it's been awhile."

"What's all the noise?" Jinxx asks coming down the stairs.

But he's not alone. Sandra. Andy was about to tell him when he saw her and shut his mouth quickly and comes over to me wrapping his arm around my waist looking down. It was just silent for a moment until Jake says,

"Ashley and Andy are engaged."

Jinxx 's eyes get huge and his mouth drops. Running the rest of the way he come and pulls Andy and I into a hug.

"Congrats guys!"

I simply smile at him and Andy pulls me as close as possible to him. I look over to see Sandra just standing there dumbfounded,  but that look soon turns to anger. But she soon covers it and puts on a fake smile. Cunt. All I can do is pray that she doesn't ruin this night for my baby. He's so happy, so am I obviously but his happiness means more to me. If she ruins this night for him shit is gonna get real and I don't care whose around. C.C. clearance his throat and says,

"So, when did this all happen?"

"About a half hour ago." I reply

"How'd you do it?" Jinxx pipes up

"He made a video of the bvb army hinting it to me then asked me after a bit of rambling." Andy explains with a smile.

"Uh, it's been an eventful day on my part so um, I'm gonna go to bed." Andy announces

"I'll go with you babe." I mumble.

"Night guys....." I add

With that Andy leads me up the stairs now that Sandra had moved off them. I see Andy send her a very unfriendly look as we walk past her. Making it into our room Andy climbs into bed bringing me with him after turning out the light. I cuddle into his side, resting my head on his stomach. I soon feels his fingers in my hair.

"I'm not letting her ruin this for us Outlaw."

"Nothing nor no one could ruin this for us baby, no matter how hard they tried. You said yes, nothing can take that from me."
