Hospital Trip?
~Two months later~
"Food!"
"Yes CC we're getting food, you wont die." Jake remarks
We decided to go out to lunch, because why the hell not. We enter the small restaurant and sit in a booth. CC and Jake sit on one side and Jinxx, Andy and I sit on the other.
"Hello" A female says rudely
"Holy Fuck." Jinxx says
"Oh fuck.." Andy mumbles
I look up to see our waitress is no one else but Kina.
"What do you want to drink?"
"CC and I will take Coke." Jake answers.
"I'll go with a Rootbeer." Jinxx adds
"Water is fine." Andy mumbles
You can tell he's uncomfortable . I notice that she didn't wright down Andy's drink, so I guess she didn't hear him.
"He said water and I'll go with Dr. Pepper." I say
"I know what he said, I just don't give a fuck what it wants."
"That's not very good waitress-ing." Jinxx adds becoming angered.
"I don't give a fuck."
And with that she walks away. Andy just looks down so I grab his hand and put our hands in my lap and he smiles.
"Is that who I think it is?" Jake asks
"If you think it's my ex girlfriend who tried to get me to cheat on Andy, you're right."
"Awkward.." CC chimes
"Agreed." Andy mumbles.
Kina comes back with our drinks and about spills Andy's on him with how she slammed it on the table, I was going to say something but Andy stopped me. She then puts my drink in front of me showing me her cleavage so I back away and look at Andy. She then backs up and asks,
"So, what do you want to eat?"
"I'll go with the chicken." Replies Jinxx
"The personal pizza." Says CC
"Oooohh that sounds good, I'll have the same." Says Jake
" I'm gonna go with the fish." I add
"Uh, the pasta would be good." Mumbles Andy
"Whatever faggot." She says
"Hey!" I yell
Before I can say any more Andy stops me,
"It's not worth it." He whispers
"I don't feel so good Ashy..." Andy whines leaning in to me.
I wrap my arm around his waist and pull him closer.
"Were you okay earlier?" Asks Jake
"Yeah, I was perfectly fine."
"Did you eat something?" Jinxx questions
"Only what I just had from here and breakfast Ash made this morning..."
Just then he begins coughing harshly, and doesn't stop for about two minutes straight. I'm starting to really worry. Before anyone can ask he lightly pushes Jinxx out of the booth and runs out the door. Just as I'm about to go after him Jinxx stops me and says,
"You figure out what happened and we'll go make sure he's okay."
As little as I didn't want to not go to Andy I listened and walked over to Kina as they ran out the door to Andy.
"Kina!" I yell
"Yes Ashley?"
"What'd you do to Andy?!"
"Oh, you know of a sweet little thing called food poisoning?"
"What the fuck! Why?!"
"Cause he's a worthless faggot no one needs."
"I need him!"
With that I run out the door to see Jinxx holding up Andy as he's doubled over vomiting and Jake's rubbing his back.
"What'd you find out?" CC questions as I take Jinxx's spot grabbing Andy's hair from his face.
"Food poisoning."
"What!" Jinxx yells
"Ashy...I think I'm gonna...." Andy mumbles
Before he can finish he faints leaning more into me. I pick him up and set him down in my car and turn back around to the guys,
"I'm taking him to the hospital."
"We'll be right behind you." Jake replies
I nod and get in the car rushing to the hospital. Half way there I hear Andy whimper.
"Ashy?" He slightly panics
I put my one hand on his lap and say,
"I'm right here baby."
"Where are we going?"
"I'm taking you to the hospital."
Shockingly he just nods, usually he'd fight me against it he must really be out of it.
"Just promise you wont leave me in there alone."
"I wont baby, not unless they don't let me stay with you, if that's the case then I'll get to you as soon as I can, promise."
He nods and says,
"I'm cold, it's cold Ashy."
It's eighty degrees out here. Uhh, a side effect i guess. I take my hand off his lap and he panics reaching for me slightly with a whine. I've never seen him like this...so dependent on someone else for comfort.
"Hey, it's okay baby I'm just grabbing my jacket for you."
I lay my jacket on him the best I can while driving. He then leans up and puts my jacket on correctly then leans back into the door.
"It's warm."
"I'd think so, considering that's what jackets are meant to do."
"Shut up."
Just then we pull into the Hospital's parking lot. I get out and go to Andy's side making sure he's not leaning on the door. Andy looks at me with pleading eyes lifting his arms up to me.
"Pwease Ashy..."
"Of course baby."
I lean down and pick him up bridal style. He cuddles into my neck and just then I close the door and the guys walk up.
"How's he doing?" Jinxx asks
"He seems a bit out of it and he complained about being cold the whole way here."
"Aww poor Andy." CC whispers.
"Come on." Jake says
We head towards the doors and Andy's grip on my shirt gets tighter. I kiss his forehead and whisper,
"It'll be okay baby, everything will be okay."
He nods but his grip doesn't loosen. We walk in and sit down as Jinxx goes up to the desk to get a doctor. I run my fingers through his hair not taking my eyes off him. Soon a doctor comes over and asks,
"Okay, so what's the problem tonight?"
"Andy here, we think he has food poisoning." Jinxx says
He's always been the fatherly figure in our group and it really shows in times like these.
"What kind of symptoms has he shown?"
"He started coughing and then vomiting and fainted...." Jake says
"He seems very out of it and the whole ride here complained about it being cold out." I add still not taking my eyes off Andy.
"When did this start?"
"He started complaining he didn't feel well to Ash not even five minutes after he finished eating and was coughing not much longer after." Jinxx explains
"Well we're going to have to run some tests but it seems like you're right. Nurses can you bring me a wheel chair for this gentleman? "
Andy's grip on me becomes a vice grip and he whimpers,
"Ashy, don't leave me.."
I look at the doctor and he shakes his head no sadly. Fuck.
"Hey, baby the doctor says I can't come with you but I'll be there as soon as I can, I promise baby. Okay?"
He burries his head more into my neck and let's out a soft whine. I stand up still holding him and whisper,
"You're strong Andy, you'll be okay. I'll be by your side as soon as I can."
"Promise?"
"On my life." I whisper setting him in the wheelchair that was brought over.
I takes him a moment to let me go and I lean down and give him a kiss on the nose and back away. Andy looks at me with scared eyes then puts his head down looking at his lap they wheel him away. Jinxx comes up beside me and hugs me.
"He'll be okay Ashley."
I just nod and lean into him a little. A nurse comes over and asks,
"May I ask the relation between you guys and him?"
"We're his best friends and band mates..Ash here's his boyfriend."
"I thought to but I wasn't sure. Uh, Ash you and him are very adorable together."
I just give her a light smile and a mumbled thank you.
"Don't worry, Andrew will be fine."
"I hope so."
"Food!"
