Knowing James Through Cole Drake
*Rich's POV*
I began to get a bit worried when I didn't see James the next day. He wasn't at his locker or in class. What if that Troy guy hurt him? Oh god, please no.
I don't know what I felt for this strange boy but he gives me this overwhelming feeling. He seems depressed and eccentric. There's something about James I can't put my finger on. Whatever it is, I can't bare to let him get hurt. I zoned out while Josh talked about class. Something about this guy who cheated on his test or whatever. I don't honestly care much really. I just can't stop thinking about James.
His black hair looked so dark and his piercing suited him well. I was just trying to figure out why I was so attracted to him. I mean, I don't know if I'm attracted to him sexually or by looks...there's just something that gives me this tingling feeling.
"Racheal! Are you even listening?" Josh exclaimed, pulling me out of my thoughts of James.
I shook my head "No...I'm just worried about this kid in class" I stated.
Josh frowned with his small but plush lip and suddenly became interested in what I had to say. I continued "He's this guy by locker and yesterday Troy was giving him trouble. He's not here today so I'm a bit worried" I said.
Josh calmed a bit "Oh, you mean James Ash? Yea, Troy likes beating him up." He replied.
I gulped. I noticed that Josh, I wanted to snap. Instead I asked, "Why?"
Josh shrugged "Go ask Cole Drake. They seem pretty close" Josh suggested.
"Who's he?" I asked while grabbing my back pack.
Josh pointed across the over to the football field "You've met Cole. He's on my team, Racheal" Josh stated.
I nodded and then kissed his cheek "Thanks" I called as I ran off.

Once I got to the field I was met by the coach "Need anything young lady?" He asked.
I nodded "I need to see Cole Drake. It's important" I blurted suddenly.
Coach called his name and a sweaty 17 came over to us.
