Goin' to Hell
Introduction
Written in our DNA is the urge to protect our younger siblings at whatever the cost. No matter how annoying they are or how much they get under your skin, you’ve got that urge to protect them. We can pick on and torment them all we want, but if someone else does it? All bets are off, we destroy that person without a second thought.
That’s how it was for me since the day my parents brought home Austen. I was four at the time and even at that age, I knew it was my job, as her brother, to make sure nothing ever happens to her. So when I got the call from my mother, telling me that Austen has been missing; I felt like my worst nightmare was coming to life.
In that single moment, I felt like everything I knew about the world; everything I believed in, was going to hell….
