Ever After

"Oh come on, Vic. Loosen up! It's not like we'll get caught; I know what I'm doing. We'll be rich. We'll never have to worry about our problems. We could be like Bonnie and Clyde, you know."

He had been talking about this for a long while before it happened. He just loved to get into trouble, and trouble seemed to love him as well.

After several days I reluctantly agreed to it. "Only on one condition," I bargained with him. "I'm Clyde, you're Bonnie." I said with a grin.

He looked like he was about to argue, but then shut his mouth, a grin on his face as well. He threw himself into my arms, whispering an I love you.
