Hello Magpie,
Your daddy and mommy loves each other very much. Your daddy told me the other day that your mommy is the love of his life and he couldn’t imagine life without your mommy or Hannah or you. I feel sorry for that girl at your school. It’s not easy when your mommy and daddy are apart.
I don’t think your daddy could ever leave you or Hannah. He loves you two very much. But money is a very important part of life. Your mommy and daddy needs money to feed you, make sure you’re warm, and happy.
It can be very scary for adults when they don’t have money. I know this because sometime my mom and dad argue about it too. I’m sure your mommy will get better soon enough. It’s not hypomania. It’s called depression. Depression means that you are really sad so you don’t want to do anything and don’t have any energy.
