Kimi watched the group leave, a sense of uneasiness and dread filled her up but she knew she couldn’t lose her cool; she didn’t want to be another part of the problem at hand. Instead she chose to venture back to the guild, taking her time.
As she passed through the town she heard whispers of what was happening, blocking out the voices she finally made it back to an empty guild. Kimi searched for other guild mates and when she couldn’t find a soul she realized what had happened. Master Makarov must have waged war, which means a member of Fairy Tail had been attacked.
For a split second Kimi let her anger get the better of her and accidentally totalled the already damaged bar. Coming back to her senses she went down downstairs to the basement where she was greeted by Mirajane who filled her in on what was happening.
“Levy, Droy and Jet were the ones attacked.” She informed, softly.
Kimi’s eyes widened in surprise before her hands clench in anger.
“Kimi…” Mira whispered, placing a hand on her shoulder, to calm her friend.
Kimi relaxed slightly, feeling her power null down, the dark haired girl sighed before sitting and counting down the minutes and the hours until her guild arrived back, and she’d never felt more helpless then what she felt right at this moment. She hated it, this feeling of helplessness.
Before Kimi could comprehend what was going on her guild was back. Cana came over to her and Mira and told them the Master was gravely injured and for a moment the three girls didn’t speak.
“We need to get in contact with our other S-Class members of Fairy Tail.” Mira informed and they moved to a quiet area to contact the others that were away on missions.
Gathering the crystal ball Mira set it up while Cana decided to do a reading for any signs of Mystogan, another strong S-Class wizard.
“Come on! I’m not getting any kind of read on where Mystagon is, if Lucy’s their real target they’re bound to attack, and I’ll bet it’d be sooner rather than later, right now we’ve just got too many wounded to put up much of a fight. ” She growled, throwing her cards down in frustrations.
“Masters seriously injured and we can’t locate Mystogan, you’re the only one left we can turn to, help us Laxus.” Mira said softly, with a sigh. “We could really use you about now, Fairy Tail’s in great danger.”
Kimi watched Laxus scowling face through the crystal ball but didn’t say anything then suddenly he was laughing.
“Man, Makarov is friggen pathetic, I don’t see how this is remotely my problem. You have Kimi and Erza so deal with it yourselves.”
“So you aren’t going to help us?” Cana asked, in disbelief.
“Of course not, that senile old toad started this. Why do I have to be the one to clean up his mess?” He questioned.
“Laxus.” Kimi moved to get a better view of the blonde man with the crystal ball but he only shook his head.
“I’m not coming to help, Kimi’s there she can take care of the mess you all created, if the old man pulls through tell him to hand me over the guild.” He smirked and Kimi knew his mind was made up, he wasn’t coming back and she got angry, destroying the crystal ball and stomping out of the area.
Suddenly the ground shook and everyone looked around confused, the uneasy feeling Kimi once had, came back and all the members of Fairy Tail ran outside to see what was going on, they came face to face with a massive guild hall, only it had legs.
“I never anticipated this…” Erza stated, in horror.
A large canon comes out within the walls of the enormous structure and it begins to charge.
“Everyone get out of here!” Erza cried out in horror before taking off and requiping. Kimi realized she was going to try block the attack, the members of the guild yelled their protest as the canon fired.
Kimi lurched forward, sprinting up to Erza, she shoved the younger woman behind her.
“Destruction Magic: Dissemble!” Kimi yelled, throwing her hands up as a giant magic circle took the hit, she could faintly hear Erza scream at her but it was too late.
Kimi kept her ground as her magic circle frayed at the edges, the canon blast was strong but Kimi would never let it hurt her family. Finally for what seemed like a long time the canon fire wore off.
Kimi’s magic circle broke apart and what little amount of the canon’s fire that was left hit her square on, making her shove back into Erza as both girls go flying back toward there guild.
Kimi felt her strength fade before her eyes closed and darkness consumed her.
