Blossoms Who Are Without Equals
Natsu and Hana
Hana just watched in shock at Kimi’s outburst, fear clenching her heart when she saw Laxus’ expression before he zapped out. She had never seen Kimi so angry before and to be honest, she knew Laxus deserved it. He’d abandoned the guild and he had said many hurtful things about the guild and its members.
After that, everyone just let Kimi alone to calm down. Hana had tried to go to her but Natsu stopped her. “Kimi-sama is better left alone right now. She’s unstable,” Natsu said, taking hold of Hana’s arm lightly, concern etched across his face. Hana nodded, understanding. The rest of the members continue to work on the guild. According to Mira-Jane, as they’re already at it, the master had also decided to do expansion to the building, much to Natsu’s dismay. “Why do we need to change? The old guild was already amazing,” he had said.
After a long tiring day at the guild building site, Hana walked home with Natsu accompanying her as Kimi had went off somewhere to let off her steam. She was still pissed off at Laxus and it was understandable. Happy flew alongside Natsu because if he were walking, Hana would’ve grabbed him and held him tight. By flying, he could get away as fast as he wanted.
“So what are you doing tomorrow?” Natsu asked, kicking the pebbles near his foot and scratched the back of his head absent-mindedly. They were currently standing right in front of the house Hana shared with Kimi. Hana watched Natsu with a wondering stare, her eyes wide.
“Tomorrow? I’m not sure yet. I think I’ll be hanging out at the guild and help with anything I can,” she answered, looking down shyly as she noticed Natsu staring at her. She just waited for Natsu’s next words and the silence seemed to stretch for forever but she knew it was only a few seconds.
“Well, I was thinking. Maybe we can go take a walk or something,” he started, looking away and Hana noticed a blush creeping up onto his cheeks. It was endearing to see the usually energetic Natsu looked sheepish like this. So Hana bit her lower lip, trying to hide the smile on her face so she wouldn’t embarrass the male mage any further. “Since you’re new to town, maybe I can show you around.”
“Yeah… sure,” she answered, trying to hide the excitement in her voice. Natsu beamed widely from ear to ear, the nerves seemingly had disappeared as he nodded once.
“Cool!”
“Yeah… cool,” Hana echoed, her own lips stretched into a smile. Natsu and Happy said goodbye after Natsu had promised to come pick her up at ten in the morning tomorrow. Hana entered the house feeling giddy and she wasn’t sure why. Her heart was floating. As she entered the door, she saw that Kimi had a vase of flowers on the table next to the door. She went to the table and used her magic to make the flowers bloomed bigger. She did this to all the flowers in the house, including the life-plant that was on the verge of death on the shelf in the kitchen.
Hana really couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come.
