The Elite
Every teenager has it hard. But we're not your average teenagers. We got "blessed" with half the genes of a vampire and half of a human.
If you thought human teenagers were moody and violent than you haven't met us.
We're at Tatiana's--excuse me-- Draskova's School of Half-Breed Excellence, being trained to do the Vampire's dirty work: drive them around, translate their letters, keep them safe.
There's this group though, called the Protectors. And they are the certified badasses of our world. They're all Half-Breeds like me, but they get paid to kill. They protect Vampires and Humans from all the other beasties out there-- and especially from each other.
I want to be one of them more than anything in the world.
But everyone seems hellbent on keeping me from that dream. That is, until one of them shows up and changes everything.
Warnings for graphic violence, language, mentions of drug and alcohol abuse, and just general chaos.
