His mouth twitched. "She's involved with him somehow, I know it. Did you see how calm she was when she was explaining what happened? I don't care what you think, no one who has been through what she has would be so...composed."
"You're going to drive yourself crazy," I told him. "We'll talk to her some more, and then you'll see that you're wrong."
"I don't believe that I am," he replied, leaning back in the chair and pinching the bridge of his nose. "There's more to this, and we're going to find out what it is."
