(Marigold's POV)
As promised Zacky was at my door at 9 am bright and early to take me to my appointment.And despite the many protests from Val, she reluctantly gave in and let him drive me to the hospital."I'm going in with her." She stated sternly as we pulled into the ER driveway.I only sighed, slightly agitated by the way she was acting.Zacky just nodded his head."I love you, Mari." He whispered into my ear before giving me a soft kiss on the cheek."I love you too." I said as Val and I got out and started on our way.
Val was silent the entire time until my name was finally called.I had bled practically through everything last night."See you when it's over." I said as the nurse wheeled me off into the surgery ward.I felt knots twist all throughout my body before I was put to sleep for the procedure.
(Zacky's POV)
I waited in the hospital lobby for a good three hours until I finally saw Val walking beside a nurse who was pushing Marigold out in a wheelchair.She looked drained and completely out of it."She's still a little woozy from the anesthesia, but she'll be fine in an hour or so.If she starts to bleed consistent then bring her right back.Goodbye." The nurse said to me and Val before heading off in a different discretion."I want Taco Bell." Marigold suddenly slurred as we started on the drive back home.
Val and I couldn't help but laugh at that."Ok babe we'll get you whatever you want." She said while Marigold just smiled.I still couldn't fathom what had all happened, especially knowing that the girl of my dreams was actually pregnant by me but it also still hurt to know that I was the reason why she was put into this predicament in the first place.It just wasn't a fair game all the way around.
We finally arrived to my house around 2, loaded with food and enough movies to last a lifetime.I wanted to make sure that Mari was as comfortable as possible while she recuperated from everything."Thank you baby." She said softly to me as we sat down on the sofa.I couldn't help but smile."You're welcome." I kissed her gently on the lips while Val sorted through the food and gave everyone what they had wanted.
"God I haven't had this in so long.Matt hates Taco Bell." Val shrugged as she started to eat her burrito happily."Good thing you love it." Mari laughed before kissing me on the side of my face.We decided on watching The Nightmare Before Christmas first and then finally Alice in Wonderland until it was 7 at night.Matt and Jimmy showed up to pick up Val and see how Marigold was feeling."I would be better if I wasn't in so much pain.Got any bud Jimbo?" She laughed lightly as Jimmy gladly passed her a joint.
"Mind if we talk for a sec Zack?" Matt suddenly asked.I nodded and followed him outside to the front porch."What's up man?" I asked, noticing a puzzled look on his face."It's nothing really, just I'm worried about going on tour next week.You have Mari to worry about and I don't want anything to happen with you two." He said as I lit up a cigarette and passed it over towards him.I sighed, scratching the back of my head."I know, I was worried about that too.But she'll be fine, especially with Val and Lena around." I reassured him as I exhaled a bit of smoke.
"Guys I think your women are about to make out!" Jimmy randomly yelled out of the window, causing both Matt ad I to laugh loudly."I think we better get back inside before something goes down." I chuckled before tossing the finished cigarette butt into the ashtray."Good idea." Matt agreed as we headed on inside, only to find Marigold and Val cuddling on the couch while Jimmy proceeded to sing Madonnas 'Like a Virgin' loud and totally off key, making everybody laugh uncontrollably.
It made me glad to know that everybody was concerned about the well being of Mari, because we all were one big and happy family just like the days in middle school when I first met that amazing girl who stole my heart.
But I still couldn't help but keep Matt's thoughts in the back of my mind about the upcoming tour.I was worried about leaving Marigold alone too.
