Katherine Carter, for most of her life, lived in a mental asylum, Eichen House, also referred to as 'Echo House'. Now, out of there, Katherine has to attend Beacon Hills High School, or else it is more than likely she'll go back to Eichen House. Katherine always had a knack of getting herself into trouble and drama. What happens when she mixes with a certain group of people in Beacon Hills?
