I kinda suspected that my city wasn't entirely normal. That there were deep scars in the history's tissue and secrets that should never be revealed. You could say that I was one of the odd ones as they put it. One of the ones that was meant to be hunted, breed to be sought, one of the ones meant to live in fear and one of the ones meant to fight for our survival. But not only was the city in threat, but the whole world was in danger of the creatures I'd come to hate. But that had became such a big part of my life. The one word that would make anyone's stomach turn if they knew the truth or shiver at the thought. Vampires. Life sucking vampires. With their perfect looks and lethal fangs, they were the devil disguised as perfect angels. These undead beings destroying our cities, our families, our lives. But as I came to realise, to kill these things, maybe the hardest thing of all. The biggest rule is to never befriend a vampire, never, because the price you pay, may be the last.
