Life is funny, isn’t it? One minute, you’re going in one direction with every confidence it’s right, and in a blink of the eye, you’re guided in another. It doesn’t always make sense at the time but whether it’s for the better is up to you. Your actions are everything.
I can remember a time where I was headstrong and sure of myself. I knew I wanted to get out of Tampa. I knew there was a life outside of that hellhole, just waiting for me. And I knew that if I stick to my convictions, nothing would alter my future but me. However, I didn’t know that by walking into a coffee shop at 9:05am on January 10th, 2014, I had already altered my future.
