Just Remember.

Chapter 1

As she inhaled she stared up into the cloud filled sky, she could hear him still screaming at her but it sounded so far away now. She felt tears coming to her eyes as she began to lose feeling as breathing became even harder to her. Her body began to feel colder than before and she could no longer move as she saw the snow begin to fall. He walked over to her and stood over and he lifted her into his arms. She could feel him shaking but she knew it wasn’t because of the cold winter air, she could hear police sirens in the distance but she could tell they would be too late.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to I’m sorry. Please don’t go.” he whispered his into her ear as the first snowflake fell on her face, and something else wet but it wasn’t icy like the snow flake. She closed her eyes as she heard him sobbing into her neck. Her breath grew shallow and then nonexistent as the ambulance arrived and the paramedics pulled the boy off of her.
