Iridescent

To say Zoella Rickards was quiet would be an understatement. She was silent. Literally. She hasn’t said a word since she was 15 years old. Now she’s 17, going on 18, and she’s stuck with her silence for 3 years. She’s become pretty well at it, since no one talks to her anyway. So when her English teacher decided that she’d do a pen pal program, she decided that she would just write poems, because writing letters would count as talking, in a way, which would break her vow of silence. Where’s the harm in that? Its just poems. But what happens when her partner, Alex, takes interest in her poems, and takes interest in her as well? Will he be able to break her silence?
