Peter Callaghan is asking if Veronica and I were dating. Do we look like we’re dating? This makes me embarrassingly happy.
“C’mon dude, Veronica’s getting pissed,” I try to stop Peter even though I secretly want him to continue.
“Ahhh Prince Charming’s come to save his damsel in distress?” do not blush Nathan. Do not blush.
“Oh prince charming what the fuck happened to you?” Veronica raises her eyebrow at me. Shit did she just call me Prince Charming?
I ride on in their joke, “what do you mean my princess?” damn I can’t stop smiling.
“I mean why the hell did you suddenly decide to shut up?” she’s just staring at me now. Damn did she mean a while ago? Well she just held my freaking hand, what was I to do?
Fuck I need to come up with an excuse… oh fuck it I’ll just act like I don’t know what she means.
“What do you mean princess?” innocent smile Nathan. Remember your innocent smile.
Veronica rolls her eyes, “you know what I fucking mean,” damn she’s not buying it.
Peter butts in, “you guys aren’t having a love quarrel are we?” damn I forgot about him.

“CAN’T YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP?” the entire room is silenced.
Mr. Prince is heaving as his hands rest on the table. Damn he looks pretty pissed.
Minutes pass but we all remain silent.
“Go home,”
What? Did he just say go home?
“Huh? We’re not supposed to be dismissed until—“ Mr. Prince bangs the table even louder than he did before.
“I said go home,” what is wrong with this dude?
Everyone leaves one by one. First Lucy Brown, then Lionel Davis, followed by Diana Ross and Peter Callaghan.
But Veronica and me stay.
I’m not leaving if Veronica isn’t.
