Status: This is from a roleplay a friend and I did ^_^ quite proud of the work. We are still currently roleplaying this story, so I will update whenever I have a new batch done.
Link's Trial

Zelda laid in bed for hours, not wishing to move. Only just under forty-eight hours remained before the Dark Lord would have his new body. She had already sent one of the guards away with a note for the Gerudo, letting then know she needed one of them to come in a short notice. She was deep in thought when a pounding came from the door.
"Zelda! What's going on; open up!"
It was Link. She flew to the door as fast as she could. Upon releasing the lock, the door flew open and Link stumbled in. Zelda waited as he entered and shut the door.
"Welcome back," she said weakly.
At the sound of her voice like that, he turned and his eyes widened beyond what she thought possible.
"Zelda! What's going on; open up!"
