Status: This is from a roleplay a friend and I did ^_^ quite proud of the work. We are still currently roleplaying this story, so I will update whenever I have a new batch done.
Link's Trial

She screamed. Her body was in pain, and it felt like her insides were being torn out.
"You can endure it! Not much longer now, push!" Nirumei was frowning deeply.
The sun had dropped long ago, bringing with it the dreaded awaiting. The guards had been shooed as soon as it had started, mainly to save them from the spectacle. She gripped Link's arm so hard, he was holding back his own cries.
"Can't- can't you just finish it?" Zelda breathed heavily, gasping for breath.
Nirumei glanced at her, no emotion. "No, I am sorry, but I cannot."
She groaned and tears spilled from her eyes. "Please, it hurts!"
Nirumei glanced at Link. "Can you please keep her busy?"
The woman honestly scared him, Zelda could tell by the face he made as she looked away.
