You Have My Attention

Where we belong.

"Garrett!" Remi yelled, waving him over. She had just arrived at the airport to pick the guys up and she was a little anxious. She honestly didn't know how she and survived be several weeks they had been apart but here she was still alive and slightly nervous to see him.

Once Garrett saw her, he quickly picked up his pace, disregarding the guys who were following him. He immediately dropped his bags and swiftly picked her up in his arms.

"Hey you." He mumbled into her hair as he held her to him. He knew it was irrational for him to miss her as much as he had, but he did. Maybe that made this more real. He was unsure really.

"Remi!"

Remi chuckled as she released her boyfriend only to see the others getting closer.

Garrett rolled his eyes and she kissed him quickly before focusing on the guys.

"John Oh! I've missed you!" She said throwing her arms around him. She had missed him. As annoying as he normally was since he was at his house more than his own, she missed his presence.

"I knew you would miss me."

She punched his arm lightly before embracing Pat who was beside her.

Once all the hellos were exchanged she pointed them in the way she parked. As they walked out Garrett held out his hand causing her to give him a weird look.

"Keys."

"Can I not drive?"

He chuckled, "Yes you can, but I was going to be nice and do it."

"We really need to work on your sweet side."

He rolled his eyes, a grin hitting his lips as she handed over the keys. He grabbed the handle of the passenger door, letting her in before going to his side.

"So what's been going on since I've been gone?" John asked from the backseat.

"Like you were the only one on your." Kennedy stated from beside the boy.

Remi couldn't help but laugh as Garrett shook his head.

"Nothing worth telling you about."

John scoffed, "Oh whatever."

One by one they dropped the guys off, once in her driveway John told her he would come by later once Garrett was gone so they could talk. She couldn't help but laugh as he grabbed up his bags, winked her way and headed across the lawn.

"He's ridiculous." Garrett mumbled as he followed her into her house. His bag in hand simply because she was making him wash his clothes.

"Told you we are besties." She joked and he couldn't help but laugh as he shut the door behind them.

He looked around, feeling more at home here with her than he was sure he would at his place. He quickly sat down his bag before sitting down on the couch beside her. His eyes landed on her and she smiled, "What?"

He shook his head before reaching for her hand. She still made him a bit nervous but was that such a bad thing?

"I've really missed you." He finally said, rubbing his thumb over the top of her hand.

"Well if you didn't that would be questionable."

He chuckled softly, his eyes meeting hers again, "Remi?"

"Mhm?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

He nodded, focusing his eyes on his fingers tracing over her hand.

"Can you just spit out what you are thinking?"

He couldn't stop the grin from hitting his lips. She knew him so well.

"Just thinking."

"About?"

"About us."

"That could be good or bad."

He chuckled, "It's good. It's always good when you are involved."

"Then what is it?"

He breathed in, "What do you think about, I don't know, living together?"

Remi's eyes went wide, not expecting him to say that of all things.

"Do you want to live together?"

"Yeah, for obvious reasons, like when I come home from tour...I mean so I can what? Spend the day with you and then go home and get fresh clothes, pay bills, etc. I mean, it would just be great to just come home and do everything with you here." He fumbled out unsure if his statement even made sense at this point.

She chuckled and he glared at her.

"I'm sorry! Relax! Are you sure you want this?" She asked softly.

"Yeah, I mean, if you don't that's fine, I just..."

She grinned once more, "I mean would you want to move in here? My place is bigger."

"I mean, whatever you...wait, are you agreeing?" He asked with wide eyes.

Remi laughed, "Obviously."

"Really?"

"Nope. Jokes on you, Nickelsen!"

Garrett rolled his eyes and she laughed as she threw her arms around him.

"Of course really. There's no one else in the world I would want to live with." She replied and he kissed her gently. For some reason those simple words washed away all the nerve he had built up.

"Well that was easy." He spat out and she laughed as she pulled him from the couch.

"See how simple things can be?"

"Yes, and if I move in, we have to set some rules for O'Callaghan!"

She laughed, "I knew you would say that. You're such a party pooper."

Garrett rolled his eyes as he pulled her to her bedroom, tired from all the traveling.

"You can just hang out at his house."

"Definitely not the same."

"We will figure something out."

"John's not going to like this."

"Who cares?!"

She laughed as she laid beside him on the bed.

"Don't suck to live with ok?"

"Goodnight."

She giggled and he cuddled her to him as he shut his eyes. This was how he wanted to spend the end of everyday. If he had to put up with John he would just so he could hold her every night. He really didn't know what he had became but he wasn't concerned anymore. She had his attention from the beginning and he thankfully he didn't overlook her like he was known to do. This was right where he was suppose to be.

It's been so long, but I had to put a end to this story, even if it's short. I couldn't just leave it with no end. Sorry I've been so MIA guys, simply put I've had lack of inspiration. But being gone for a while I believe has made it all better and hopefully I'm back for good! In fact, I had some inspiration last night and started a new story! Just the prologue is up but I would love for y'all to check it out! :)
