Ugly's name is Vaz. Ugly name for an ugly face.
We walked aimlessly amongst trees and twigs and dead leaves. I'm a bit lightheaded, but I've grown to love the feeling.
Ugly runs and jumps on Teegan's back and they tumble. They're laughing, I'm laughing. We were like a bunch of pathetic hippies.
"Oh, "Teegan starts, out of breath, "My parents talked to your parents and their coming over for dinner this evening." I stop.
"What do you mean your parents?" Is this happening?
Teegan frowns briefly, a small smile on her face. "Are you dumb?" Oh, right. I shake my head. It's supposed to be a secret.
"Sorry! Just messin wid you."
I rub my cheek, where he kissed me. Silly of me to think I could run from a memory that lives just down the road.
