A Sunlit Place

Konoe is just an average Raiju neko who lives in a small village in a forest which most call the Forest of Hesitation. For most of his life he is content in living in this small village but wonders what lies beyond the boundaries. Suddenly a stranger appears and Konoe finds himself leaving his home for the first time. He soon learns of the dangers in a world outside his village and a mysterious black abyss that has started to swallow the land. It's obvious that Konoe was no ordinary neko but was there a reason that the elders kept him within the village boundaries? Also, what of the spreading abyss?
