The Time I Left Forever
The Journey
Dan and I set out for a place to settle. We hiked mountains and crossed roads. We Jumped rivers and followed paths. We came across a small town that I never caught the name of. Nobody would socialize with us in any way. We went to another path outside of the town and followed it.
"Dan, I’m tired." I moaned.
"We musn’t stop until we reach Durban." Dan said.
"But why?"
"We have to. That is why."
We walked, and hiked, and jumped, and followed. I let out a sigh of exasperation after a fortnight of the same thing.The journey seemed to last forever. I couldn’t stand it anymore so I sat on a rock. Dan ranted on about how I shouldn’t stop so I got up. One day, I lost count of how many days we walked, we reached Durban. Dan was a bit depressed.
