Secret Love

I woke up to my alarm going off i reached over to turn it off keeping my eyes shut. i rolled back over expecting to see Ashton's body next to mine but it was empty. I opened my eyes and saw that his room was empty too. I turned to my phone and saw a little note next to it
"I had to go to the interview, i didn't want to wake you so i set your alarm to go off 10 minutes before the interview is on. love you babe"
i had forgotten about this last minute interview, i had also forgotten why they are having this interview. i'm not over it. Like are they seriously trying to make Ashton and I fake breaking up. Like our relationship has gone through so much because of the managements idea of the boys needing to be single and making us fake breaking up would add even more strain to us. i was lost in my thought when Ann came into Ashton room
"just checking you're up, Ashton told me to come get you just before they are on"
"thank you, yeah he set me an alarm too" i said laughing he really wants me to see this interview. Normally he doesn't care if i watch them or not. I mean he knows i will always watch if i can but this one he has got my alarm, Ann i'm sure he even has Lauren on to me if i'm not downstairs in the next minute. I'm not sure why he is so keen on me watching though, i'm sure management have had words with the hosts about mentioning the pictures or our relationship or anything but who knows.

** Ashtons POV**
We were minutes away from the interview starting. I honeslty had no clue how this interview is going to pan out. all i know is, if they ask me about Olivia i'm being 100% honest no more lying no matter what management are going to say, i'm over it and i know it is stressing Olivia out too and at the end of the day all i want is for her to be happy. Of course i'm thinking about the band and the boys but honestly my relationship shouldn't affect the band at all so i'm over it being made out to be a big deal when its not.
"you ready guys" Michael said pulling me out of my thoughts
we all said our yeahs and a minute later we were being mic'd up and standing on the side waiting to go over. They rolled our intro and then we were called out on stage, we were met by cheers and we waved to the fans as we walked out.
"so what a year you guys have had, touring with one Direction, what is next for 5 Seconds of Summer" the interviewer asked
"we actually about to head over to LA to record our album" Luke said
"yeah we would love to stay home and record but you can't really say no to working with some of the best in LA" Michael added
"so how long are you guys going to be out there for"
"2 months" i said
"yeah we're also doing some shows out there too" Calum added to my statement
the interview kept asking about writing and recording and LA and i just wasn't really feeling this interview knowing why we are doing it and why we are going out, i'm just still pissed off about it.
The subject changed though when i saw a picture of me and Olivia up behind us and some fans made noise
"So your fans bought it to our attention that one of you might possibly be not so single as everyone thought" the boys all looked at me wondering why to say. I looked off to the side for a mintue and made eye contact with our manager and he was giving me the "dont say anything" glare. Screw it
"yeah, i have a girlfriend" i simply stated like it was no big deal because it isn't. Some fans gasped and i heard someone shout finally which made me laugh a bit
"is that her" the interviewer said pointing to the photo
"yeah, her names Olivia"
i didn't really know where i was going with this or what i'm going to let out. i'm just going with the questions and answering honestly no more hiding.
"some fans say the first time they saw her was at a Sydney so earlier in the year, so have you been together since then"
"Yeah we were together then"
"how long have you guys know here"
"2 years nearly 3" Luke said
"Yeah shes a great girl, we're all really close with her" Michael added
"So if you've known her for so long, how long have you been more than friends"
"um we've never actually really been just friends" i said honestly. Olivia and I have never been just friends. I mean we started dating a week after meeting. I had Olivia in the back of my mind as i answered these questions i didn't want to say anything that could make her feel uncomfortable or anything.
"so you've been together a long time then. which brings me onto the other hot topic between your hands involving pictures of you guys on a beach" i new where this was going i didn't even have to hear the rest of the question
"no i'm not engaged, the pictures might look like it, but no. that was just something personal between Olivia and I where i promised to her i would be here for her through everything even with where this band is going. with everything that has been going on i just wanted to reassure her that i'm always going to be here for her, but can we please move on from this i don't want to say anything more on this topic. yes i have a Girlfriend and i hope people will respect her and our privacy with our relationship"
"yes of course, so whats planned for after LA"
the subject went back to the bands future, i knew i was going to be in deep shit once this interview ends but i don't care, i'm just so glad everything is out and i don't have to hide Olivia anymore and go back to being somewhat a normally couple again.

The interview ended and we got our mics taken off and headed to our car
"i can't believe you actually said all that about you and Liv" Luke said
"I just wanted it to be over with"
"did you tell her you were going to" Michael asked
"no"
"so is this why you were so keen on her watching"
"yeah i wanted her to watch it"
and on cure my phone buzzed
*Babe*
"I'm so proud of you. you must be in so much trouble though. love you"
"i havent heard anything yet, but i didn't get a very good facial expression while i was talking" i replied
our Manager got into the front of the car and turned around
"good interview boys, apart from you Ashton, we told you to skip over those questions"
"well i also said i wasn't going to follow on with your plan, so it's out and before you blame Olivia so didn't know i was doing it either"
"we can't fix this mess Ashton, you know that"
"it isn't a mess in the first place, you made the mess by making me fake i was single in the first place"
"yeah i mean if we lose fans because they found out Ashton is taken, then they weren't really fans in the first place" Calum added
"This doesn't mean you can be out parading the streets with your relationship now"
"we were never like that anyway"
the conversation continued as we made our way back to our management building where we needed to sort things out for LA. by the time we got to the building our conversation about Olivia ended and it turned to the US shows. i just couldn't wait to get home to Olivia though
