Let My Love Open the Door to Your Heart

I'm at the doctor's office looking at Mike who is looking at a Disneyworld map on my phone. The doctor came in and smiles at me. We start talking about the surgery.

"Can he travel at the end of October?" I ask.
"Yes."
"In a plane?"
"Yes."
"Ok. Thank you just wanted to make sure."

He smiles and looks at Mike who is on the phone still.

"How was he during his recovery for is tonsils?" The doctor asks.
"Good till the end. He really wanted food and not liquid."
"Ok that's good. I can't see him having a problem them. He seems like an easy going kid."
"Thank you."
"No problem."

I grab Mike and grab the phone from him.

"We get bweakfast now?" He asks.
“Yes,” I said.

I get up and he gets down and grabs my hand. The doctor opens the door and we leave after making sure I got everything for the surgery. We go to the hall way. I push the up button then call Ken.

"Hey," He said.
"Hey. We are done."
"Ok. We are at Panera bread. What me to order food for you guys?"
"What is the breakfast food?"
"Doughnuts," Mike said.
"That sounds good."
"Panera bread doesn’t have those."
"Find one close by and I pick you up and get those."
"That sounds like something just get there."
"That sounds fine too."
"Ok bye."
"Bye."

I hang up and go to the car. I get Mike in and go to the door and put in the address Ken text me and drive to the place. Adam came and smiles at me.

"You are sitting in the back," I said.
"Thanks,” He said.

Ken came in to the passenger set. I smile and wave at him. He smiles at me.

"I got juice for him," Ken said.
"Apple juice?"
"Yes."

"Mike, want Apple Juice?" I ask while looking back at Mike.
"Yes."

Ken opens it and hand it to Mike. Adam gets in and pouts at me.

"Your sister could have come," I said.
"She has school. What are you guys doing here out here?" Adam asks.
"Mike has a doctor's appointment," I said.
"Why?"
"They fixing my heart so I can ride the bike longer," Mike said.
"That's good."

I rolled my eyes and drive to Disneyworld. Once I park I get out and get Mike out. I go to the trunk and get the stroller out. Mike pouts at me.

"You are going to get in it when we walk," I said.

He shakes his head. I rolled my eyes and throw my bag in the stroller. We go to the front and once people are close. Mike runs to the stroller and get in and pull the cover down causing Adam and Ken to laugh. We get to the bakery since I want the cinnamon rolls. I get Mike out while Adam goes find a table. Ken walks in with us and I start listing what they have and Mike points to the Cinnamon rolls. I order it and get myself a coffee and water for Mike. Ken came and order a soda and other coffee then hand the worker his card. I glare at Ken. He kisses the top of my head.

"Stop it," He said.
"I have money."
"That will you use later."

I sigh and grab what I can with Mike in my arms and Ken grabs the rest. We go to the table and Mike sit on my lap and start eating the cinnamon rolled.

"So what ride are we going on first?" Adam asks.
"Dumbo," Mike said.
"Ok."
"Then brainstorm."
"Ok."

Mike smiles and he finish his food. I eat the rest of it before getting up and putting Mike in and walk to where the Dumbo ride is.

"It goes around in a circle is it a good idea right after eating?" Ken asks.
"It fine," Mike said.

I look at it and see that it's fine.

"Come on Adam," Mike said.
"What?"
"You ridding with me."
"Why not Ken?"

Mike looks at him and I pick Mike up and hand him to Adam.

"We wait in the line with you," I said.
"No it's fine. I got this,” Adam said.
"Call if anything goes wrong."

I look at Mike and he smiles at me.

"Hold on to his hand at all times if he put you down," I told him.
"Ok mommy."

I smile and Adam goes to the line. I run a hand through my hair as Ken leads us over where we can see the Dumbos.

"You know that you don't need to buy me things right?" I said.
"I know but I like it."

I look at him and smiles at me.

"Oh look at Mike and Adam,” Ken said.

I smile and get my phone out as Adam get Mike in the seat. I take a picture of them talking.

"If he throws up I’m glad it's on him," Ken said.
"Yeah that's true."

Ken warps his arm around me.

"So I’m not going to do Straight Rhythm," Ken said.
"Because you of contracts?"
"Yeah. I stay till it's done then come to Minnesota whenever you get there."
"Ok. Blake is coming in the day before his surgery."
"Thank you for telling me.
"No problem."

I take a picture of Mike while the ride goes. I smile looking at it.

"Your enjoying this," Ken said.
"I never came here. I always went to Disneyland."
"Really?"
"Ryan took me when he lived in California. I love the Star Wars ride."
"I wonder if they have it here."
"They have Alice cups."
"We going on that one too aren't we?"
"You forget that is one of my favorite movies even today."

He laughs and kisses my head. I turn around and kiss his lips. He smiles at me and we go to the exit when the ride is slowing down. Adam is carrying Mike the put him in the seat.

"What's next?" Ken asks.
"Brain spinner," Mike said.
"Great."

We walk inside and I pick Mike up and Ken put his arm around me and we go in line and I make sure that I’m in the middle so Mike isn’t going to be touch by people who doesn't know him.

"So what we doing next?" Adam asks.
"Seven Dwaf mine trails," Mike said.
"Sounds great."
"Then we do mad hatter."
"What's that?"
"Tea cups," I said.
"Oh yes got to do that."

I nod my head and my phone beeps I grab it and see its Lindsay asking me how the doctor's appointment is. I text that everything went good and the surgery is set for the day we talked about. Mike sighs and I turn on Invisible Cow and hand it to him and he starts playing it.

"Are we doing it’s a Small World?" Adam asks.
"Later," Mike said.
"Ok."

I laugh and kiss Mike's head. We get on the ride and I'm the one in the cart with him. I get Mike when the ride is over and get the stroller we walk over to where the Hats are and I stop seeing something and see it's about meeting Alice.

"We doing something before we go on the tea cups," I said.
"Why?" Mike said.
"Because we are meeting Alice or at least I am."

He looks at me. I smile at him and sit down.

"It will be fun baby,” I told him.

He looks at me. I smile at him and he nods his head. We go in line to meet her.

"I'm going on Space Mountain. I call you guys later,” Adam said.
"Bye Adam," Mike said.

He laughs and walks away. Ken looks at Mike who is lying on my chest.

"Are you tired buddy?" Ken asks.
"A little. I'm thirsty."

I grab my bag and get the water that's in it and hand it to him. He drinks it and Mike hands it to Ken.

"Thanks Buddy," Ken said.
"Welcome."

My phone rings and I see its Lindsay calling me.

"Hey," I said.
"Hey. Where are you?"
"Disneyworld, in line to meet Alice."
"Ok. I send you picture of what I think about putting Mike in for the wedding."
"Ok."
"Talk to you later."
"Later."

I hang up and Ken looks at me and smiles at me. I shake my head at him. We go up to Alice and Ken grabs my phone from my back pocket. I smile and Alice looks at Mike and smiles at me.

"Hello," Alice said.

Mike looks at her runs to Ken and hidden behind his leg.

"Can I just get a picture?" I ask.
"Of course."

I smile and get a picture with her and the white rabbit. I go over and see Ken has Mike in his arms. I go over and Mike glares at me.

"Ok we won't meet anyone else," I said.
"Fine."

I laugh and point to the Tea cups.

"Tea cup time?" I ask.
"Ok."

Ken hand him to me. I kiss his forehead.

"You got anymore water?" He asks.
"Nope," I said.
"Let’s get some before we wait in line."

I nod my head and we go in line and Ken gets a couple waters and a Lemonade since Mike wants it. We go to the Tea Cup line and grab my phone from Ken and look at the picture and smile.

"See they didn't hurt Mommy," I said showing Mike.
"No Mommy," He said.

I sigh knowing that I will never get it through him.

"Well I like it," I said.
"Good for you," Mike said.

Ken pulls me through and I see we are getting in the ride. Once we done we go on a couple before going to a restaurant and I can tell Mike needs a nap.

"He's tired," Ken said.

I nod my head knowing its right.

"I told you he will need a break," I said.
"Yeah you did."

Adam came over and sits down next to Mike.

"So what are we doing next?" Adam asks.
"Small world," Mike said.
"I came on the wrong time."

I rolled my eyes and grab my phone and look up nap in Disneyworld and figure the train will most likely be a good one to go on.

"We are going on the train," I said.

Adam looks at me then at Mike and nods his head.

"Me and you on the train," Adam said.

Mike looks at him then at me and nods his head.

"Ok then small world," Mike said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Ok."

Adam starts texting and Ken nods his head. I lean over and see Adam making sure it's just to lay Mike down for a nap. We finish eating and Adam takes Mike to the train station.

"Sit in the back," I said.
"I know."
"Please stay awake ok?" I said.
"I got it. I can take care of him."

I nod my head and sigh.

"Adam you are the first non family that's watching him that doesn't deal with kids everyday ok?" Ken said.
"I get it. Go have fun ride Space Mountain."

I nod my head and Ken takes me to a store. I look and smile at a cute Mickey plush. Ken warps his arms around me.

"It's so cute," I said.

Ken looks at me and rolled his eyes. I hit him lightly. My phone rings. I grab it and see it's a picture of Mike asleep. I smile and see Lindsey texted me. I look at the pictures and list them in the order I like. Ken grabs my phone making me glare at him.

"We need to get in line for Space Mountain," I said.
"We got ten minutes. I got Adam to grab Fast passes for us."
"Oh that's nice of him."
"Yeah."

He pulls me over where the hats are and grab the Fantasia one and put it on me. I glare at him as he takes a picture. He hands to it and I rolled my eyes.

"No. I'm not letting you by me a hat," I said.
"Yep."

I glare at him and take it off and put it in the place. Ken grabs it and the stuff Animal and takes me over to the register before buying them. He takes me another shop and I see it's where you buy figurines.

"No Ken."
"Yep."

I shake my head and he smiles at me.

"Come on Space Mountain," I said.
"I'm getting you one."
"No you are not."
"Ok."

I look at him and he kisses my forehead.

"I get you one for your birthday."
"No.”
“I won’t buy you one if there is no more comments about me spending money.”

I look at him and he smiles at me.

“Promise?” I ask.
“Yes.”
“You win.”
“Good. Space Mountain time.”

I smile and we go to Space Mountain and ride it before I grab my phone and text Adam how he's doing and he said that Mike is still asleep and on the ride.

"Want to save him?" I ask.
"No but we should."

I laugh and take him to a place that has ears.

"You have your hat that you’re not wearing," Ken said.
"I'm looking for Mike.”
I smile and he points to one that has the Sorcerer’s hat.

"That's cute," I said.
"Yep. Let's wait for him so we can get one that fits him and we can get his name on it."
"Ok."

I smile and we go to the train station. Adam comes out carrying Mike. I smile and Mike holds his arms out. I grab him and he lays his head on my shoulder.

"Want in the stroller?" I ask.
"No."
"Ok."
"How was the ride?" Adam asks.
"It was good."

I nod my head and go to the store we were in and look at Mike and see him awake.

"You want to get Mickey Ears?" I ask.
"Do they have one with the soccer hat?"

I point to the ones that Ken pointed out to me.

"They also have hats," Ken said.

Mike looks at the hats and point to the ears.

"I want that," He said.

I set him down and find one that looks in good then put it on and see that it looks god on him.

"That is how it goes on," I said.
"Ok this is good," He said.
"Ok."

I take it off of him and go over to the shopper and went to buy it.

"Do you want to Customize?" She asks.
"You want your name on it?" I ask.
"No."
"Ok."

She gave me the bag and I put it on him.

"You need a hat," Mike said.
"I got a hat in the bag," I said.
"You need it on."
"Ok."

Mike goes to Adam and take him to the ears and grab the lime green Mickey mouse ears and put it on and I smile at him as Mike talk him in to it. He goes over and buys it.

"You need one too Ken," Mike said.
"I'm fine."
"It’s fun.”
"Yeah it's fun," I said.

He glares at me and Mike grab his arm and take him to the hats. Ken picks him up and Adam came and stand next to me.

"How was he on the train when he woke up?" I ask.
"He was ok. Just got in my lap and told me he wanted off."

I nod my head and Adam looks at me.

"You know he loves you right?" He asks.
"What?" I said shock.
"Aldon brought it up and told me to tell you."
"Why?"
"You are both young and naive or so he says. I figure I tell you what he thinks so you can think about it knowing you are naive about this."

I nod my head and look at Ken.

"He's really good with Mike," I said.
"He talks about Mike a lot of the time. That's when Aldon decide to tell me to tell you so you know."
"Ok. Thanks Adam."
"No problem."

Mike came back with Ken wearing the Mad Hatter's hat. I smile and he bought it.

"We should take you to see Alice and get a picture," Adam said.
"No small world," Mike said.
"OK."

We go around the park for the rest of the day.
