Everything has changed now. Personal robots with human-like qualities are no longer available. No more emotions. No more sacrifice.
Beau and Joshua just want to live normal lives. After Joshua nearly dies in the Main, and Beau suffers injuries that still haunt him, the problems don't stop. People want things to change, but the way they are going about it is all wrong. Friendly riots are now protests, and people are thrown in jail and murdered for crimes of others.
This is wrong.
Beau and Joshua cannot deny what is going on around them in order to live normally. Along with Ethylon and Lejend, they must confront the issues that are smothering them and the blatant terrorism that is running rampant. They can only hope to somehow find the source of these problems, and, with luck, get rid of them.
