I'd Lie

John O’Callaghan & Constance Simon

John and Connie don’t get along. John’s always teased Connie, and she’s dished it right back.

Connie thinks that John dislikes her, though he only picks on her because she is like family—or at least that’s what he tells himself. Connie and Anna have been best friends since they were eight, and John has always figured Connie was like another little sister to him—one that a brother is supposed to annoy.

John is now eighteen and in search of his long-lost mother.

Connie is sixteen and happy with the current condition of her life.

But John needs a favor. And Connie can’t say no this time. Now, these two are thrown together with a new set of rules—and a new outlook.

There’s more to every situation than meets the eye.
