As a butler, it is my job to provide the best of the best for my Young Master. Also, to make sure he is in good health, and that everything is for his benefit.

But I could care less. Though I am under contract... I am forced to care. Though I don't mind the butler life. Not at all. Even if this child is one of the most difficult contracts I have had to fulfill. Snapping my own watch open, I look at the time.

Time...

I live too long.

I make my way out as I have just left the servants to do their jobs, and to entertain the guests. I never felt so uneasy. Naturally, if my Young Master dies, or less so, if he is in danger, I would sense it. But now... something else is plaguing my mind. Its full of Annie. Her scent... its an intoxicating one. Its sickening. I want to purge it, and then wretch it out. I can't help but feel disgustingly addicted to it.

I sniff the locket she seems to have left behind during the scuffle. I've never seen this on her before. She was completely nude the first time I saw her. But I never looked, as master had come with me to investigate. I had to cover her. However I didn't miss the rose stem like scars that covered her neck, wrists, and ankles. They marred her body like a shameful past.

I won't lie when I say she interests me.

I hurry, following the car that is currently speeding away from me.

Silly humans.

I apologize. Was that a bit childish? I can't help but feel rather... elated when there's a good chase, don't you? Yes. Humans are rather silly in thinking that they can escape. My hands grope the back of the car, and stop it in its tracks. The people inside were apparently on the phone.

This will be fun.

"Hello?"

Two faces, twisted in fear stare at me. They tremble terribly, and its highly amusing. I hope they don't see that on my face. To revel in such merryment would be inappropriate at this point in time. My master is in danger. I need to remain professional. However... a slight smirk isn't all too bad now is it?

"I am a member of the Phantomhive household, I am calling on behalf of my master, and one of our maids. I do hope they are not troubling you..." I say, as politely as a butler should. I can hear the man trembling on the other line. I smirk at the sound of something falling. Probably a cigar. Such a nasty habit. I once had a contractor who smoked. I happily finished the deal within a week. His soul wasn't very satisfying however.

In the throes of nostalgia, I can hear a shuffling on the other side and I close my eyes. My hearing is far better than a humans, but even I can't hear much through this static. "Hello? Are you there?" I ask.

"Woof."

I smile as I hear a snicker following the sound. I know who it is, and it actually makes me a bit happy to hear it.

Yes. I feel happiness. I may be a demon, but we do have emotions.

Don't get confused.

"Ahh, I see. I will be there shortly Young Master. Try not to get hurt. Oh! And Miss Annie..." I pause for a moment, to make sure she is listening. "Yeah?" Her voice carries over the air, to the receiver. Her voice is very calming indeed. "I'm sure things would speed up quickly if you help." I suggest, and I quickly snap the chord.

I smile at the two men in front of me.

"Well. Let's get to business shall we?"
