Broken Guns
The year is 1864, and a religious government called the Order reigns over near half of Aeuropa, including the island country of the Kingshore. Emmerich Mandelbrauss, an immigrant to the large capital city of Canalcourt, has spent the last ten years living off the streets in any way that he can in order to survive. His latest endeavor has him fallen in with a crew of downmarket dealers, men on the outskirts of the strict laws that the Order has set down, but as nothing more than an errand boy with no real trust placed in him.
There finally comes a night when Emmerich is allowed in on a deal, what seems a routine trade of goods and money with another outlaw crew. It's here he meets Ezra Lace, an intriguing young man who appears far more capable and eager than Emmerich has ever been. But when the deal turns bad, suddenly all Emmerich and Ezra have to rely on is each other.
