If We Were A Movie

If we were a movie, we’d reconnect together in ten years. I would unexpectedly run into you or you into me, whichever the script had written. We would both be conveniently single though we had our share of bad relationships and looking our best. We would connect and reunite while drinking coffee, though you don’t like it. Because that’s what the script said.

Our hands would brush, I’d fall in love with your eyes and we’d almost kiss, but pull alway only to wish we had later. After a crazy turn of events and a dramatic climax, when neither of us were suspicious, we’d fall into each other. And just like a romance movie should be, cliches and all, we’d realize all along we were meant for each other.

But this isn’t a movie, there's no happenstance occurring for us and we don’t have a say in how everything happens.
