Status: *A/N: First four chapters were written for a contest (in which I won first place, yay!), so the pacing and describing is a bit different than the rest of the story. Thirty five years have passed since a little girl was forced to leave behind a dear friend, and Chihiro now has a daughter of her own. At twenty, she knows that her mother's bedtime stories were just that: stories. So when she takes one last walk in the forest before Chihiro moves them to the big city, she makes a discovery that will change everything she thought she knew.
