It's a Start

She was known as the funny, intelligent, kind-hearted girl all her life. Never once did she hear a bad thing about herself or her very being rather than inside her head on some bad days. She had always been on the positive side, optimistic as can be. She grew up slow, always wanting to live life to the fullest even though she had big responsibilities and big goals to grasp.

It had been nothing but darkness. The black-haired, dark-eyed girl had done nothing but lie in an uncomfortable bed for months on end.
