Beyond the Sea

Chapter 28

The day has finally came. They day where not only have I been waiting for, but the fans, family, friends and never less Max and Michelle. After countless months of planning, hard work and dedication, it was finally here.

The wedding.

I was currently in my own room, as everyone was staying at the same hotel. But the girls were in a separate penthouse from the guys. It was only eight in the morning, but preparations were just starting to begin. The actual wedding was taken place in the garden of this hotel, but the reception was in the dining hall, that the hotel provided.

I tied my hair into a bun, pulled on a sweatshirt and grabbed my phone and walked out of the room, and walked into the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee, that was going to much needed for today. Once I walked in, Michelle was sitting there with a cup if tea in her hands and she was looking out the window.

‘Morning.” she turned around and gave me a half smile. But I couldn’t help but notice the tears that were starting form in her eyes. I quickly rushed to her side, mot check if anything was wrong. I was standing directly in front of her when all of a sudden she bursts out in tears. I pulled her into my chest and try to soothe her.

“What’s wrong Michelle.” I said while rocking her back and fourth.

“it’s just, I can’t believe I’m actually getting married to the man of my dreams.” I giggled and pulled her away so that she was looking directly at me.

“Well you better believe it, because in the matter of eight hours you are about to become Michelle George.” she giggled and looked down while playing with her engagement ring.

“I know its just too good to be honest really.”

“Good things happen to those who deserve it. ” I mocked while going over to the coffee machine and making myself a cup.

“True, very true.” she said while getting up and placing her mug in the sink. I propped myself onto the counter while she was scrolling through her phone.”How do you manage to keep so calm, most people that I know are ready to kill anything.”

“You’ve been watching too much ‘Bridzilla’ Soph.” I giggled and gran the nearest thing to me, which happened to be a banana, and threw it behind me.”Fuck off Soph.” I stuck my tongue out and flipped her the finger.

“Okay now go take a shower. The stylist is gonna be here in a half an hour.”

I groaned and jumped off the counter. “Remind me again, why there coming so early?”

“Because, we have to take a couple of shots for People magazine and stuff like that.” I nodded my head and started making my way towards the shower and prepare myself for this day.

Michelle’s P.O.V

I let out a breathe that I haven’t realized that I’ve been holding in since she came in. Truth is I was a nervous wreck. Worlds can’t describe how incredibly happy and excited I am for this wedding. Sure, I was probably really nervous right now. But at the end of the day, this will probably all be worth it.

I grabbed my laptop and decided that maybe tweeting for a little bit will get these nerves off me. I started scrolling down my mentions when I heard a beep, I looked up and saw that it was Sophie’s phone that she left. I decided on ignoring it and continue doing on what I was doing.

@michkeegan-It’s wedding day! :) x

I pressed tweet, and saw messages come flooding in telling me they were happy for me, some congrats, and other cute stuff like that.

Once, again Sophie’s phone started buzzing off. This time it wouldn’t stop, I decided on just answering the phone for her. I got off the stool, and walked towards the counter where her phone was. From here, I could see that someone was texting her and not calling her. I picked up her phone, and was not prepared for what I just said.

Nathan- Answer my calls

Nathan- I made a mistake, I need to you.

Nathan-I’m willing to leave Dionne for you.

Nathan- Damn it Soph, answer my calls.

I was in complete shock. My jaw was littetrely on the floor. And I didn’t know what to think, what to see. What did he mean by leaving Dionne? Did he have a thing for Sophie. What the hell was he talking about. I couldn’t take the curiosity any more and unlocked her phone. I had to read the rest of the messages.

Nathan- Sophie, please. Those two weeks in New York couldn’t of been better.

Nathan- I know your reading this.

Nathan- if you leave Jay, and I leave Dionne. We can finally be together.

Nathan- There’s nothing more that I want than you. I’m throwing away everything with Dionne for you, please.

Nathan- I don’t fucking care, I’m actually happy that I cheated on Dionne with you. If not, than I would of never been ever to feel the way that I feel about you know.

I inhaled a sharp breathe, at tried to understand everything that was being thrown at me right now. But I just couldn’t. Nathan cheated on Dionne with Sophie, but I’m guessing that Sophie doesn’t have feeling for him anymore or something. I did the next possible thing, and let my feet trail to the only person that I could think of.

I knocked on her bedroom door. No response, I quitley turned the door handle and peeked my head inside. I saw her long brown hair facing me, as she was still sleeping. I closed the door shut as quite as possible and locked it. I tip toed my way over to her and sat and the bed next to her. I started to shake her awake, and she stared to move around.

“Wake up.” I whispered. She slowly stated to wake up, she let one eye open. I took in a bug gulf and looked into her big brown eyes. Was I making the right decision by telling her? I handed her the phone and just sat there watching her response. She sat up and her eyes grew wide. I bit my nails in anxiety as I watched her read through the messages.

“What the hell is this.” she cried out.

“Shhhh, you’ll wake up Dionne.” I whispered to Nareesha.

“Yeah, I’m sorry. But what the fuck? Is Nathan cheating on Dionne with Soph?”

I bit my lip and nodded. “Looks like it.”
She ran a hand through her hair and let out a deep breathe. “But how? When? How did they keep it so secretive.”

I shrugged my shoulders. ” I honestly couldn’t tell you, all I know is that they managed to pull it off right behind our backs.”

“You got that right, I’m just in so much shock you know? I would of never though of it……… But really? Why the hell would
he cheat on her?”

“Don’t ask me why or how. All I know is that they did. Am I angry at them of course not. It’s not my place to judge.”

She nodded and snuggled further into to the covers, I climbed in next to her and we were both looking up at the ceiling.

“What are we gonna do about it.” she asked.

“What do you mean?”

“Like are you gonna tell her you read the messages?” I shook my head.

I smirked and shook my head. “Quit the opposite actaully.” she turned her head and lead against her elbows. “What do you mean.”

“I mean that I’m gonna delete the messages. Then at the wedding, we’re gonna lock them in a room together to settle their differences.”

“What! What do you mean were going to?”

“As in you and I are going to play match maker.”

“What, why? How can you do this Dionne and Jay? ” she was right. How was I supposed to break up two relations up like that, with the snap of my fingers. I just couldn’t, could I?

“I don’t know. They don’t neccairyly need to get together now do they? They just have to talk.” She sighed and ran her hands through her hair. I watched her think for a little bit until she told me her response.

“Fine, only because its your wedding. But if anything goes wrong. I’m blaming you.” I squealed and jumped on her. “Thank you Nunu!”

“Okay, time to get ready for today, now go and take a shower.” she giggled while pushing me off her. I grabbed Sophie’s phone and walked out. I checked the hallway really quick making sure Sophie hasn’t come out of the shower. Once I saw that the coast was clear I dashed towards the kitchen. I deleted all of the messages and placed the phone back onto the counter.

What was I getting myself into?

——-

Sophie’s P.O.V

I placed the necklace on Michelle and stopped back . I quickly wiped away a tear that was starting to fall down my face. Here she was looking as stinging as ever, she was glowing. I’n the matter of minutes she was about to walk down that Isle.

“My god, do you look beautiful.” I gushed. She looked down and blushed and I giggled.

“Ready to become Mrs. George?”

“More than ever.” she grinned just then the wedding planner walked into room telling us we had to prepare our selves to walk down the isle. That meant, walking down with Nathan.

I ran behind, her and held her train so it wouldn’t catch any dirt on it. We walked out of the room and towards the hallway that lead to the garden outside. Michelle walked towards the end linking arms with her farther.

I took my spot next to Nathan. This was getting to be a really awkward situation between us as you could sense the awkwardness between us. I just ignored him. We both stood their in silence, not saying a word. The entire time, Nareesha and Siva where in front of us, but Nare kept on turning around and gave us weird looks.

Strange.

“Sophie….” before he could finish I fought him off. “Just don’t, not here.” I whispered. He sighed and looked forward.

“Just then the doors opened which meant that we had to start walking door. I linked arms with Nathan and started towards the pathway. We both walked intact with the soft sound of the music.

I never actually imagine myself walking down the isle, in this situation. I emmidaitly felt myself get nervous as I felt everyone’s eyes on me.

“Remember to breathe.” I felt him whisper against my cheek. I felt all those goosebumps that I get every single time that he comes near me.

We finally reached the alter, I stood in line next to the girls as Nathan went to go stand behind Max. I gave Max a reassuring smile, as I could sense him get nervous. Just then, everyones attention came across to Michelle who was no coming down the isle. I looked towards my side and saw Max start tearing up. I smiled and even let a tear fall down my cheek.

——-

After many hours, Max and Michelle were officially married. We were all at the reception and having a blast but the entire time Michelle and Narresha would be whispering to each other or giving me odd glances. I decided on just shrugging it off my shoulder and ignore it.

Right now, Max and Michelle were having their first dance as a married couple. I was honestly so happy for her, so proud, like a big sister.

I was sitting on my seat just watching them like a total creep. Then the DJ announced that any couples were welcomed onto the dance floor. I looked like a total freak, just sitting here all by myself. I looked towards my left and saw that Jay was coming my way, but then I looked to my right and saw Nathan come my way.

Oh dear lord.

I bit my lip anxiously hoping that it’s of my way when I saw that both them probably wanted a dance with me.

I let out a sigh of relief when Jay reached my table first. He leaned forward and offered me his hand. I grabbed it and walked right past Nathan that stopped dead in his tracks when he saw us.

Jay pulled me into the dance floor and I wrapped my hands around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist.

“Thank you for saving me.” I said.

“Any day.” we both swayed back and fourth to the song, just enjoying the moment. I couldn’t help but just smile at him. He didn’t know it, but what he has done for me is more than I could ever imagine.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned around saw that it was Michelle.

“I need your help.” she asked. “With what?” I questioned.

“don’t ask questions just come with me.” with that she grabbed my head and dragged me with her to what seemed the kitchen.

“What’s with the rush Mich.” she didn’t respond to me, instead she just kept on pulling me. Before I knew it I was shoved into a kitchen.

What the hell?

I banged against the door trying to make it open. No luck, she locked it from the outside.Seconds later the door was opened, and instead of letting me free, another body was thrown in. I stumbled back as I felt his body collide with me. I looked up and saw him.

Nathan Fucking Sykes.
