Pulling Teeth

Later on, i went to the bathroom and found... Stitches?
'Glad i was asleep for that...' i thought.
Later on, i got a letter.
'Dear Green Day'
'Good start!' i thought, sarcastically.
'We would like to offer you a certain sum of money for you to come and peform at Roadhill High School' it read.
Interested...
'Please contact Principle Holbrook'
And then it had an email and a phone number.
I made a small, lame, joke by writing 41 next to the word 'sum'.

I showed the letter to the guys, before deciding to do it.
As far as i know, they tempted them with the word 'money'.
They would cut off their own.... y'know, if you gave them $200.
Im pretty sure Tre tried once...
Anyway, enough talking about what goes on inside their pants and between their legs.

Three Days Later...

We were all prepared to go to the school today.
I had my favourite guitar, Blue, Tre had his lucky drumsticks, and Mike had his signature bass.
I had dyed my hair blonde, and Tre had gone... green.
O--kay?
Mike also dyed his red.
We shook hands with, who we think, was the principle, and he led us into a dressing room.

I changed into my long-sleeved 'STUPID' shirt, Tre for some reason was wearing a short sleeve shirt and a frilly skirt, and Mike with his normal sleeveless look.
I had written a few songs, including one called 'Basket Case' another called 'Longview' (Funny story abou the bass riff- i'll tell you later) one called 'She' and another called 'In The End'.
We sorted out a tracklist that consisted of some new songs, some from 1,039 and a few from Kerplunk!.
It was-

1. Road To Acceptance
2. She
3. Pulling Teeth (finally finished!)
4. Rest
5. Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?
6. Longview (yes, Longview in front of kids)
7. 409 In Your Coffemaker
8. Basket Case
9. Welcome To Paradise.
We finished with F.O.D and All By Myself.
Tre said he wouldn't sing 'Oh Yeah, Did I Mention?' by the way, he said he would replace it with 'I had an-' Yeah. Yeah, just... yeah.

I looked into the audiance, and could've died right there on the spot.
Laura was sitting in the front row, and let's just say, if looks could kill, i would be melting right there on the spot because of the death glare she was giving me.
...Oh god... if she heard Pulling Teeth, she would murder me!

Oh, i just remembered- the bass riff to Longview story:

<2 Days Earlier>
Tre and I walk inside me, Tre and Mike's place, and we find him sitting on the couch with his bass in his arms.
"Hey Mike..." I greet.
His eyes are bulging out his skull showing little red lines.
He has a slight smile on his face, but his mouth is halfway open with his lips covering his teeth.
He's so obviously high it's unbelievable!
I start laughing a little as i see a little bottle on the floor.
I pick it up, and look at the label.
It simply has the word 'ACID' on it.
Me and Tre burst out laughing.

"Hey... Check this out..." Mike finally says.
He plays a few chords on his bass, and i gota admit- it sounds good.
I make a note of the chords and get Mike some water.
I also start to write some lyrics to a new song and it seems to work with the bass riff.

And that's how the bass riff to Longview was made!
