I Won't Give Up

Deep in the Gulf of Mexico, for miles and miles, lies a merfolk kingdom called Costa Sirenas. Normally a peaceful kingdom, Costa Sirenas has been having disappearances of mermaids. Mermaids are being captured and tortured for their tears, which can heal any illness or injury in a matter of seconds; and has been proven just as effective as vampire blood. The kingdom is ruled by King Triton, son of Poseidon. King Triton has a beautiful daughter named Maris. Maris, like her father, has a special power bestowed upon her by her grandfather. She can emanate electricity through her body and she can communicate with others telepathically. She is also in line for the crown now that she is of age. The mysterious captures not only put a damper on her coronation, but now King Triton’s nemesis, Alacord, is trying to dethrone him. Alacord has already proven to be a danger to Costa Sirenas after killing Triton’s wife and threatening the life of Maris. Triton fears for his daughter and has to make a tough decision between keeping Maris close to him, or send her off where Alacord can never find her
