Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch

1/1

I was just home from a jog and started to stretch myself
out to ease my muscles again when I noticed his car.
It was in front of Mike's house, my neighbour, where it had
been alot the past few weeks.

I didn't know him but I knew he was a somebody.
His hair was always slicked back and he looked,
somehow, a bit arrogant. I never met him though,
so I didn't judge him on his looks.

I knew he was very English, I'd heard them talk a few
times and I couldn't help but melt at his warm voice with
the thick accent.

He looked like he had some money to spend on himself
and I didn't have much so I couldn't buy myself expensive
things. He, on the other hand, had a nice car and his clothes
looked like they were especially made for him. They fit
perfectly.

I was almost done with stretching when the door to the house
next to mine opened and revealed the man who the car belonged
to. I looked at him, taking in his attire.

Black shoes, black pants, a white shirt and a leather jacket.
He oozed rock 'n' roll and somehow, my stomach did a small
flip I couldn't place. Why would my stomach do that when
all I knew was that he had a great sense of style and a nice car?

I pulled the band out of my hair, letting it fall just passed my
shoulders. I ruffled it a bit, trying to make it look decent after
it had been in a ponytail for the duration of my run.

I heard footsteps and looked to my left, as I faced my own home.

"Evenin'."
the guy mumbled.

"Hi."
I replied with a smile before walking inside.

"Can I ask you something?"
the guy asked.

I turned around and looked at him.
"Suppose so."
I replied with a small shrug.

"Do you have a light?"
he asked, as he grabbed a cigarette.

I scrunched my nose.
"Nah, I don't smoke."

"I know that but do you have matches or something? I'm
really craving some nicotine."
he asked with a small smile.

I nodded.
"Yeah, give me a sec."

I walked inside my home after I'd unlocked the
door and walked over to my kitchen to get some matches.

As I walked back outside, he'd made his way to my front
door and he caught me by surprise.

"Crap! I didn't expect that. Here, matches."
I added after the first shock of him standing
in front of the door.

"Thanks, love."
he mumbled before lighting the cigarette.

He handed me my matches before blowing out the smoke,
thankfully, not in my direction.

"I better take a shower, I probably smell pretty bad.
See you around?"
I asked, as I took a small step back to grab my door.

"Yeah, I suppose you will."
he said as he eyed me up and down.
"And you smell delightful."

He winked at me before walking down my steps, towards his
car.

I didn't realize I'd held in my breath until I'd closed my door.
"Holy shit. What a guy."
I mumbled as I felt my heart thump in my chest.

I took a cold shower to cool off a bit, shocked at this turn of
events. No other had ever had this effect on me.

I fell asleep, playing the short encounter over in my head.
Again and again and again...

---------------

I didn't see him for another couple of days but I was taking out
my trash when he came driving up the street with another car.
I only recognised him when he came closer and closer, sunglasses
on his face.

I waved at him before turning around and walking up my
steps. As I heard the car door close, I turned around.

"How many cars do you actually have?"
I asked, stopping.

"Just the one. This one is from a friend of mine
because mine decided to blow itself up. It needs a new
engine so it's in the garage."
he explained as he slowly made his way up to me instead
of Mike's.
"You like this one?"

I nodded.
"I like yours better, actually. But don't tell your friend."

He chuckled.
"I won't. We could go and take a drive, if you want?"

I looked at him, my nerves on edge, my surroundings blurred.
He was all I was seeing at that moment even though I didn't
know him. Not really.

"I'd probably break something just by looking at it too much.
And I wouldn't be able to pay for the damage."
I said, as I looked into his brown eyes.

They were quite mesmerizing.

"I'm sure you'll be fine. If you don't want to go on
a drive, you can just say so. My feelings wont be hurt. My ego
might have a little dent in it but other than that I'd be fine."
he said with a small smile.

I chuckled.
"Well.. We couldn't do that to your ego, now, could we? Weren't
you supposed to meet up with Mike, though?"

"Not today, no."
he said, as he grabbed my hand in his, gently and
he then led me to the passenger seat.
"Have a seat."

I was completely overwhelmed at his actions. I couldn't
even try to say no and get in the house. It was like my entire
body was paralyzed at his touch.

I had no idea why he had this effect on me. I'd seen him around
alot, sure. But this was only the second time we'd ever talked
about anything.

"It's comfortable. I feel like I'm gonna slide off all this leather
when we're driving."
I said and he chuckled.

"I won't drive too fast, love."
he said before we started our little trip.

"So I know you're from England but what part, exactly?
I can't place your accent."
I said, trying for some small talk.

"I'm from Sheffield, not too far from Manchester."
he answered, as he took his eyes off the road for a second
to look at me.

"I'll have to look it up, still."
I mumbled and he smiled.

"It's not all that great but it's home."
he replied as we took a right.

"Shit, that's what I always say about L.A. People always
come here with great, big expectation but to me, it's really
not that great. It's just home."
I said, with a small smile.
"So how'd you know Mike?"

"We met through mututal friends."
he replied as he took another right.
"So how you're from around here?"

I nodded.
"Yeah, my parents live about 10 minutes away from
my place. They helped me get it and everything.
They're awesome. Where the hell are we even going?"
I asked as he turned a left.

I hardly left my part of town because I didn't have alot of
friends and the ones I had all lived in 5 minute-perimeter.

"I really have no idea. I like to drive around sometimes,
makes me forget some things and remember others.
I can take you home if you want, though."
he said and removed his sunglasses to look me in the
eyes.

My heart sped up at the sight of his brown eyes and
the sincerety that was in them.

"No.. I'm fine right here."
I mumbled, as I felt my cheeks burn.

I was definetely staring and he knew it because his
lips turned upwards in a smirk.

I quickly looked out the window and tried to get a grip.
I was mentally slapping myself for making it so obvious
he had an effect on me by just looking my way.

"The sun's setting."
I mumbled before he stopped the car.

I looked at him.

"My favourite time of day. Wanna join me?"
he asked as he stepped out of the car.

I realized we had stopped in a parking lot, close to the pier.

"Yeah, of course."
I mumbled and got out as well.

I shut the door not too hard, afraid I might scratch the surface
or something. I felt completely underdressed when I saw
him take off his jacket and I sighed.

"I look like a hobo compared to you."
I said as we'd started walking up the pier.

"You don't look like a hobo at all."
he said, as he lit a cigarette.
"Now that guy. That guy looks like a hobo."
he said as he pointed at a man on a bench.

I chuckled.
"Why?! He just has an oversized shirt on, that doesn't
really make him a hobo."
I looked at my attire.
"Maybe some sort of.. Hobo with some sense of style?"
I asked myself more than him.

"For the last time, you don't look like a hobo."
he said as he looked at me, while we were still walking.

I gave him a look and he shook his head with a grin.
"Fine, be that way. If you want to be a hobo, okay.
Let me just tell you one thing."

"And that one thing would be?"
I asked, curious.

"There is no hobo more beautiful than you."
he said, before taking another drag of his cigarette.

My face flushed and I faced my feet for a while before
I could mutter a 'thanks'.

That pretty much threw me off guard.
Surely he didn't think I was beautiful.

"You're quite the charmer, aren't you?"
I asked.

He probably got around to many girls with his smooth
talking.

"You mean, am I a man whore?"
he asked and I shrugged.

"Pretty much, yeah. Are you?"
I asked, as I took in my surroundings.

"I've been with a few girls. When I was just in my
twenties I didn't care about being tied to one girl.
I've grown up, though."
he answered, truthfully.
"Now being tied to one girl doesn't fear me."

"That's a good thing. Anyone lucky enough to call you
theirs?"
I asked, my way of asking him if he had a girlfriend.

"Not anymore, no. I've been alone for a few months now. Had
a relationship of 2,5 years before that."
he said before throwing away his cigarette that was
pretty much done.

"Sorry to hear. I haven't been with anyone for 3 damn years."
I said, with a sigh.

"How come?"
he asked, curiously, while tucking his hands in his jeans.

"After my last boyfriend I shut myself off to alot of people,
including men in general. I didn't want to be hurt anymore
and that seemed like a good idea at the time. But all I did
was alienate people and I've never really gotten around to
making new friends or finding a new potential boyfriend.
I was pretty content with the way I was for a long time. But lately
I wouldn't mind the company."
I replied, telling him alot about me already.

"If you're open to it, it'll happen."
he said with a small smile.

We stood on the edge of the pier, looking out towards the
sea and we saw the sun set.

"I'm Alex, by the way."
he said after a few silent seconds.

I turned towards him and smiled.
"I knew that. I've heard Mike mention you a few times.
And I was a bit curious to who that car belonged to so I might've
asked Mike about your name."
I replied with a small blush.

He looked at me for a while before smiling.
"Now I don't feel so bad."

I frowned my eyebrows.
"Bad about what?"

"I might've asked Mike about you as well. Roslyn's a
beautiful name."
he added, with a wink.

"We should thank my parents for that."
I said with a permanent blush on my cheeks.

I was staring out towards the sea and I enjoyed
Alex' company more than I should.

"So, how about we get you back home?"
he asked when the sun was gone.

"That sounds like a good idea."
I replied and we walked up to the car again,
enjoying a comfortable silence.

When we were about half way to my house, he stopped
the car and looked at me.
"Wanna grab a bite to eat? I'm quite hungry and this is
a nice place for some dinner."

I looked at the restaurant and realized I'd never been
to this particular one.
"Yeah, sure. Now that you mention it, I could use
some food, too."

We both got out and made our way inside.
There were alot of tables taken but they could squeeze us in
and I knew it had something to do with the man I was with.

I decided to let it rest for a while, I didn't want to pry but
when the waitress came, she looked absolutely flustered
and could hardly contain her excitement.

I told Alex to order something for me because I had no idea
what was good and I was curious to see what he would choose.

When the waitress left, I took a good look at Alex and found him
looking back at me. We continued this for a few minutes until I
sighed and looked at my napkin.

"So what do you do?"
I asked, then and looked back up to see him smirk.

"Why do you ask?"
he wanted to know.

"Because you have a really nice and very shiny car, your
clothes and that waitress almost fainted when she saw you.
Now I know, you've got something over you that'll make the
girls swoon over you but something tells me that there is more
to it. Hence my question."
I explained.

"Do you?"
he asked me.

I frowned in confusion.
"Do I what?"

"Swoon over me."
he added, as he leaned on his elbows and looked
me in the eyes.

"Maybe. You'll have to find out for yourself."
I said, with a small smile.
"Now don't change the subject."

He chuckled and sighed.
"I'm in a band."

I waited for more but that was all.
Tilting my head I tried to place him but for the life
of me, I couldn't.

"That's it?"
I asked, after a few silent seconds.

"What else do you want to know, love?"
he asked, still not taking his eyes off of me.

"How about everything?"
I asked, softly.

"That's an awful lot to tell, though."
he said with a small chuckle.

"We've got time."
I said, and blushed a bit.
"You're very cautious about your hair, I presume?"

"That's a sudden change of subject. But yes, I want my hair
to look good. Superficial of me, I know.."
he added but I shook my head.

"I'm not asking because of that but there's this one piece of
hair that's bothering me and I want to fix it but I don't want
you to be mad at me for touching your hair."
I said with a smile.
"So either you fix it, or I will. Just sayin'."

He looked around and sighed.
"I don't want to get up for the damn mirror."

He leaned forwards and so did I.
"Fix it."
he said, softly.

I smiled.
"That's alot of trust you're putting in me."

"I know."
he replied, wiping his eyes.

I reached for his hair and with one smooth movement, I
fixed his hair and smiled.
"There."

He grabbed my hand and gently kissed my wrist.
I looked at him, my excited grin vanished from my face.
That small, small gesture had me completely
flustered.

We were interrupted by the waitress, bringing us our food.
Alex let go of my hand and all I wished for was that he'd
take it back and never let go.

I shook my head and faced my lap for a while, taking a few deep
breaths. This was so weird, he was completely turning me
on by his actions and I'd never had those feelings before.
Not this soon and most definetely not this strong.

I knew it was lust, of course. It wasn't anything more and I had
to keep reminding myself of that so I wouldn't lose control
and do something I would regret.

"Snap out of it."
I mumbled to myself. I took another deep breath and then
looked up.

"You alright, love?"
Alex asked as he took a sip of his beer.

"Yeah, just a little.."
I wanted to add but I shook my head.
"Yeah, I'm fine."

He looked at me and right there I knew he'd seen my flustered
cheeks and sweaty palms. He knew for a fact that he had
made me feel a certain way.

"This looks delicious, I can't believe I've never been
here before."
I said as I looked at Alex.

"It certainly looks delicious. I wonder what it tastes like."
he said with a smile and I was glad I didn't take a sip of
my coke just yet.

The double meaning behind this words made my stomach flip
and I felt my heart speed up.
"Now that was just dirty."

He chuckled.
"Sorry, couldn't help myself. The food here's delicious though.
Can't believe you've never been here before."

I shrugged.
"I don't get out much. I'm comfortable in my own
home but other places.. I don't know. I'm a homebound
girl. I go out though. But not much."

"You should. You're good company."
he mumbled.

We ate the rest of our dinner, smalltalking all the time
and, in my case, trying to put all the images out of my head
that consisted of Alex and me. Doing things.

When the check came, Alex insisted to pay for everything
and hesitantly I let him. He seemed like a guy who wanted
to take care of things so I didn't want to insult him in any
way.

Back in the car, we were at my house way too soon.

He turned the keys out of the ignition and I stayed put.
I was debating whether or not to invite him in. I wanted
to very bady but I had a feeling that if I did that, I wouldn't
be able to contain myself.

"I'll walk you up to your door."
Alex said, as he held the door open for me.

I hadn't even noticed he'd walked over to my side of the
car. I looked up at him and gladly took his hand that he'd held
out to me. I got out of the car, rather smoothly and sighed.
"I don't think I've ever say in a nicer car."

"Well, I'll pick you up in my own car in a few days. You'll be amazed
how much better that one is."
he said with a smile as he lit a cigarette.

"I'd love to try that one out, as well."
I replied, as we walked up to my door.

I grabbed my keys and unlocked the door, opening it.
Still not sure on what to do, I turned around to find him
incredibly close to me.

I looked up at him, into his eyes and saw the intensity in them
and I felt my breath hitch in my throat.
He smirked and gently moved his thumb over my lips that
slightly parted at the touch.

I was starting to feel a little woozy and Alex noticed.
He bent down, his lips close to my ears and I closed my eyes.
My heart was pounding in my chest and I still felt like suffocating.

"You should keep breathing, love."
he whispered in my ear before kissing just below it.

I breathed in and out heavily and started to feel less
woozy.

"Thanks."
I mumbled, as I felt my face heat up.

His hands were on my hips, pulling me in closer
until we were touching hip to hip.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew that this was
something I would never do but Alex was different. He'd
only asked me for a light and my heart had started thumping
and my stomach had been doing backflips and I hadn't even
talked to him normally, yet.

Now we were here after a great day and my body was still
reacting to him, even more so than before.

I had my eyes closed, almost waiting for the part where
I woke up and realized it was all just a very good, very
hot dream.

"Oi!"
we heard all of a sudden.

My eyes flew open and I took a few steps back.
I was still looking at Alex, who was looking towards Mike's house.

"Hey, man."
Alex said, slightly annoyed.

"Sorry to interrupt. Don't let me stop you."
Mike said and I practically heard his grin.

Alex looked back at me and saw my flustered face,
the look in my eyes must've been enough for him to know
that if he'd continue, we'd hardly get to sleeping.

"You can come in, if you want."
I said, gesturing to the open door.

Alex smiled.
"Only if you're sure."

He walked up to me and placed his hand on my cheek.
"I don't want you to do anything you don't want to."

"I won't."
I answered, immediatly.
"But you.."

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
I was about to tell him what I wanted but I felt a soft pressure
on my lips.

Both his hands were in my neck now, holding me firmly
in place without hurting me.

My hands were on his hips soon enough and I felt some of
his exposed skin, what made me even more turned on.

I pulled back from the kiss, practically gasping for air.
"How do you do this to me?"

I mumbled, as I looked into his eyes.
"The minute you asked me for a light for your cigarette,
all I've been thinking about is the way you made me feel.
This is so irrational, it's crazy."

I stepped back and walked inside.
"Close the door behind you, please?"
I asked, as I walked up to the fridge for something
cool to drink.

I heard the door close and footsteps close after.
Turning around, I saw he'd gotten rid of his jacket again
and I sighed.

"I saw it, tonight. In the restaurant. Your cheeks and
your eyes betrayed you, love."
he said as he walked up to me and placed his hands on
my hips once more.
"That doesn't mean I don't feel exactly what you feel and
I have no idea what you're doing to me. But I feel like I need
to touch you, any way I possibly can."

He'd started kissing my jawline inbetween words.
"I've never had this with any other girl."
he mumbled before slowly walking backwards with me.

I was gently pressed against a wall and I felt his warm lips on
mine again, this time I wrapped my arms around his neck
and shoulders. His tongue slowly traced my bottom lip but
I instantly did the same and we were kissing like it was the last
kiss we would ever have.

It was urgent, it was sweet, it was everything I expected of
him. He was dominant and I loved it, I didn't mind at all.

He gently lifted my shirt and we broke the kiss so he could
pull it over my head before attaching his lips to mine again.

I was now only in my bra and pants and even though it wasn't very
warm in my house, I was still hot enough to stay here for hours
if I had to.

I got rid of his shirt, as well and he kissed my neck before
looking at me.
"Are you absolutely sure?"
he asked in a lustful whisper.
"We can stop now but I don't know if I can stop if we
carry on."

I pecked his lips and grabbed his hand and led him up the stairs
to my bedroom.

As I turned around, I grabbed his jeans and pulled him
towards me before unbuttoning it.
"I don't want you to stop."
I mumbled against his lips before I took charge for a while
and kissed him with everything I had.

My hands moved up from his waist to his stomach that was
surprisingly muscled. He knew how to hide it well. My hands
roamed his chest and ended on his neck.

I broke the kiss and smiled.
"I want my hands in your hair but I'm afraid you'll get mad at me."
I mumbled, biting my lips.

"Honey, you can do whatever the fuck you want."
he replied, before his hand made it's way to my back,
unclasping my bra as he kissed me once again.

His hand stayed on the place where my bra had just been on
my back, pushing me flat against him.

I started to move backwards to eventually land on the bed, with
Alex on top of me.
He was busy taking off my pants when he stopped kissing me.
"Skinny jeans suck."

He stood up and started pulling my pants off of me and I
chuckled.
"If I'd know we were about to be in this situation, I might've
worn something less tight."

"Next time you should wear a skirt. Or a dress. God, I wonder
how you would look like in a dress."
he said, as he kissed up my legs all the way to my inner thighs.
"I think I wouldn't make it to the bedroom."

I gasped when I felt his lips close to the most intimate part
of my body but he kissed passed it, up to my stomach and
inbetween my breasts.

I saw the smirk on his face and I smiled.
"Tease."

He smirked at me before attacking my neck with kisses and
soft bites. I grabbed his hair and gently started pulling on
it as I moaned in ecstacy.

Slowly but surely, I felt his hand up my thigh, gently stroking
my sides before cupping my breast.
I gasped, feeling my heart starting to pound even harder.

"I'm worried your heart is going to stop working soon,
love."
Alex mumbled, as he placed his hand over my heart.
"It feels like it's going to jump out of your chest."

I looked into his eyes and placed my hand over his heart.
Smiling, I noticed his heart had the same erratic behavior
as mine.

"You're one to say."
I said, softly.

He smiled before kissing me on the lips and then kissing down,
to my stomach.

He hooked both his index finger in my panties and slowly
but surely pulled them down until they were on the floor.

"You're gorgeous, Roslyn."
he muttered as he traced my entire body with the tips
of his fingers.

"No one's ever told me that before."
I replied, as I grabbed his face in my hands and pulled him
towards me so I could kiss him.

"Men are dicks."
he mumbled, when I'd released him.

"Not all of them."
I whispered and then pulled him on top of me.
"I want you."

He smirked.
"Consider it done, love."

The only thing in the way were his boxers that he removed
quickly.
I waited for him to do whatever he wanted to me, in anticipation.

----------

The day after, I woke up in an empty bed.

I sighed and couldn't help but smile at the images flashing in
my mind.
He was ever the gentlemen, making sure that we both got what
we wanted and needed. He was gentle but above all, he was good
at everything.

I stretched myself out and felt some sore muscles in
places and I grinned. It was a small price for such an incredible
evening.

I realized I was naked, still so I grabbed some things from
my closet and walked over to the bathroom.
When I opened the door, the shower was already running.

My heart skipped a beat; I thought he might've left
when he'd woken up but I was never more glad that I'd
been wrong.

"You're fogging up the place, Alex."
I said and closed the door behind me.

He stuck his head out of the curtain and smiled as he saw me.
"Hello, beautiful. How'd you sleep? Hope you don't mind
me taking a shower?"
he asked.

"Hi, handsome. I had a lovely sleep and I only mind if you won't
let me join you."
I said and he smirked.

"Well, by all means."
he said and pulled the curtain aside.

I stepped into the shower and closed my eyes at the warmth of
the water and Alex' hands on my hips.
I wanted to say something to him but his lips were on mine
before I could.

As I wrapped my arms around his neck I could feel him
against me, aroused and ready.

I chuckled.
"I thought you'd have left."

He frowned and allowed the water to hit him in the face for
a while before wiping his wet hair back and looking at me.
"Why should I? I told you last night that I have no idea what
you're doing to me and I'm staying to find out. I don't really
mind or care how long that will take."

I smiled.
"It's weird what one unlit cigarette can do."

He chuckled.
"Weird but enjoyable."

I blushed and nodded.
Alex' hands had moved from my hips to my neck and
cheeks as he lifted my head and kissed me, very sweetly.

"You're amazing."
he said, as he pecked my lips again.

"You're confusing me with you. You were quite the amazing
one last night."
I muttered as I felt a shiver through my body when he
slowly traced my spine with his fingers.

My hair had fallen down so I faced the water to get rid of it and
then turned around and looked up at him as he stared at me.
"We should get dried off. Have some breakfast and then see how
this all plays out."

"You want to see how it plays out at breakfast?"
he asked, with a grin.

"Breakfast, lunch, dinner.. You said you wanted to know how
I make you feel a certain way. That counts for me, as well. And if
you're sure that you don't mind how long that will take then I'm
not caring, either. You're interesting, you're sweet, amazing and I
know all this in one day. I hardly know anything about you and I
want to get to know you, if you're up for it."
I replied.

He kissed my forehead and smiled.
"I'm up for it."

I sighed.
"Then let's get some breakfast."

"Sounds like a good idea, love."
he said, as he turned off the water.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner followed and I started to know
Alex bit by bit. He was still a bit hesitant telling me about
the band but I didn't press him. He'd tell me about them when
he wanted to. Maybe he was scared I'd look at him differently
but I knew I wouldn't; he was just the guy who asked me for a light
when he needed one.

I was happy he came to me, to ask me for that light. He made
me a better person, I could feel that already. I hoped that he
would stay with me for a long, long time because if it were my decision,
I wouldn't let him go, ever again.
