Jillian Kinsley is a deaf girl living in Scranton. She lives a 'normal' life, hanging out with friends, playing video games, pigging out on junk food. She meets a guy named Ricky Olson and they almost immediately become best friends. When she finally meets his friends, her sights are set on the one known as Josh Balz. Her only problem is, she has a hard time with dating hearing people.

Josh Balz just got out of a messy relationship. When Ricky brings a new girl to practice one day, he can't help but notice how beautiful she is...or that she uses sign language. Is a relationship possible between a hearing guy and a deaf girl?
