"Hey" Vero said walking into the house. Marc and Stella right behind her. Sidney and Jessica looked away from the TV

"Hi" Jessica said with a smile

"What's up brother" Marc said, Sidney stood up and hugged his best friend

"Kids are in the play room Stella" Jessica said, she smiled and ran off. Vero and Marc sat down on the couch opposite

"Mario and Nathalie are coming over too" Sidney said

"Oh good, haven't seen Mario in awhile" Marc said

"What's for dinner" they heard, they all looked at the door to see Mario and Nathalie. Everyone stood to exchange hellos and hugs before getting comfortable. Nathalie looked at Jessica and she smiled. It had been 3 weeks since she had taken the test. And was now officially 10 weeks along.

"So Jess and I have some news for you guys" Sidney said looking at his wife.

"Ya?" Marc asked

"We're having another baby" she said, Vero smiled

"That's awesome" she said excitedly

"Actually babies" Jessica said

"We're having twins" Sidney added, mouths dropped around the room

"Twins" Mario said, Jessica and Sidney both nodded

"4 kids" Marc said, they nodded again, he looked at his wife who was grinning "don't get no ideas" he said, they all chuckled

"4 kids, wow" Vero said

"We have 4 kids" Mario said with a smile, Nathalie nodded

"Maybe it's the twin thing then that's blowing my mind" Marc said

"It blew mine too" Sidney said

"So that's why you've been so sick" Nathalie asked, Jessica nodded her head

"Do the kids know" Mario asked

"They know we're having a baby, just not 2 babies" Sidney said

"Addison is excited, Greyson has been very clingy" Jessica added

"Twins" Marc said again "2 babies, in that little body" he said pointing to Jessica

"Come on man" Sidney said Marc shook his head "it will be alright" he said rubbing her stomach

"Yes and you have all the love and support" Nathalie said

"That we do, I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart" Sidney said

"We love you guys" Jessica said, Sidney nodded his head

"Did you get something for the morning sickness" Nathalie asked

"Yes thank goodness" she said

"Twins" Mario said as they walked into their house "I thought it wasn't a good idea for one baby at this time let alone two" he said taking off his jacket

"They are young and in love"

"And fighting like crazy, Sidney is like a son to me, to you, to us. Jessica has enough stress with 2 kids....what's 4 kids going to do to them? To their marriage? To Sidney's playing ability" he said sitting down

"We just have to be there for them. We are the closest parent figures to them here in Pitts" Nathalie said, Mario nodded and sighed "they will be ok"

"I hope so, I don't like the thought of them not being together. She is so good for that kid" he said, Nathalie smiled

"Support sweetheart, that's all we can do right now" she said kissing the top of his head

"When can we try for another baby" Vero asked, Marc sighed

"You want another one right now" he asked, she nodded her head "I'm not home enough though"

"Why can't you do what Sidney is doing and work from home"

"Cause that's not something we have talked about" he said, Vero frowned "we will discuss this tomorrow ok"

"Ok" she said forcing a smile

"Daddy when my new brother or sister arrives are you going to forget about me" Addison asked as she cuddled into Sidney

"What no" Sidney said "why would you think that"

"I don't know, your always busy with work, then with a new baby you will be busy with it"

"No sweetie, mommy and I love you and love Greyson very very much. We will love all of you the exact same" he said

"But I love you more. You were my daddy first" she said, Sidney chuckled

"Remember we have to share" he said, she nodded her head "nothing will ever change how I feel about you or Greyson ok"

"Ok" she said

"Close your eyes" he said. She did what she was told and as sidney hummed softly, Jessica who was listening through the monitor started to cry.

"Your dad is going to freak when we tell him" Jessica said, Sidney looked at her and shrugged. They had broke the news to both sets of family's of the pregnancy just not at the news of twins. They were on their way to Canada to tell his family before heading to Texas to tell hers. As they pulled into the drive way of their lake front home. Taylor, Trina and Troy walked out of the house to meet them. The kids where smothered in hugs and kisses before Sidney and Jessica where hugged

"How do you feel" Taylor asked

"Better, just real tired. Glad to be away for a few days" she said, Taylor smiled and closed the door behind her

"I love you sweet thing" Trina said to a giggling Greyson. Sidney smiled.

"So were just gonna go ahead and tell you the news" he said, everyone looked at him. Jessica's heart started to pound as Troy studied his son.

"So we told you guys that I'm pregnant again" she said

"But this time we are having twins" Sidney said, Troy raised an eyebrow, Trina's mouth dropped and Taylor giggled

"What did I tell you brother"

"Ya ya" he said

"Congrats" Taylor said hugging him

"Oh sweetie, that's why you were so so sick" Trina said hugging Jessica

"But it's ok now and all that is under control" she said with a smile. Sidney looked at his dad, he just stood there.

"4 kids Sidney" he asked

"Troy" Trina warned

"What about hockey"

"What about it dad? I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing"

"Not with twins and 2 active children" he said

"We will hire someone to help, we've already discussed this. Nathalie said her daughter could help whenever Sidney was gone or if I wanted to travel to where he was" Jessica said stepping next to her husband, she placed her hand on his arm in a comforting way.

"You can't pick and choose if you want one kid or multiples....it just happens" Sidney said

"But you can choose to have sex, and this is a bad timing"

"Shit happens, and this is my life, with my wife, and my family. We decided on having another baby together, we found out we were having twins together, we agreed this is going to be more than ok together and together we are going to raise not 2 children but 4 children and we are going to be ok" he said

"Everything you've worked for your entire life"

"Is still going to be there" Sidney said starting to get angry

"Enough" Trina said, she rubbed Jessica's back, the tears slowly starting to fall. Sidney turned to look at his mom but his attention turned to his wife. He took 2 steps and within a split second she was in his arms

"Go home dad, when you can be an adult we will talk" he said, Trina shook her head at Troy, but without a word he turned and walked out

"Sidney"

"Mom please just take dad home" he said, she sighed

"We do love you both very much"

"I know mom" he said with a sigh, he kissed Jessica's forehead "I love you"

"I love you too" she said

"Hey baby where you going" Sidney asked walking down the stairs

"I was just about to wake you up, I'm going to the store....I need more vitamins"

"Oh ok"

"Need anything" she asked

"No I'm good, thanks though" he said kissing her "I love you, be safe. The kids and I will probably be in the pool, addison is already bugging me" he said, Jessica smiled and nodded her head and grabbed the keys to the Tahoe.

"Hey, let me give you a call later, my daughter in law just walked in" Troy said, she smiled and nervously played with her wedding rings "hey Jess"

"Hey Troy, I know you don't like to be bothered at work, but I just needed to talk to you"

"Come in, have a seat, everything alright?" He asked, she sat down and looked at her father in law

"Well no..."

"What is it dear"

"Well Sidney"

"Is he ok?" He asked

"Well no" she said, Troy looked at her confused "look he doesn't know I'm here, I came on my own. Sidney is my husband and I want him to be happy, I know I don't understand y'all's relationship but your his father and he loves you and looks up to you. I know the thought of twins is scary, believe me....I'm the one sharing my body with them, but last night he was so hurt by everything" she said, Troy looked down she sighed "I just want you to know that even though we will have 4 children, this won't keep him from hockey, his job is too focus on his dreams and job and mine is to take care of everything else, and that's what I'm going to do" she said standing up "I have to go I just wanted you to know that he will still have hockey and I will make sure he focuses on it" she said walking towards the door

"Jessica" Troy said she turned slowly and looked at him "I am extremely proud of the man my son has become...."

"Tell him that then" she said opening the door and walking out, she took a deep breath and walked to her car, standing up to her father in law was not easy and she hoped to never have to be in that situation again.
