"Goodnight mommy, I love you and baby MaKenna and baby Keegan" Addison said, Jessica smiled
"We love you too sweetheart, sleep well" she said, they looked at each other as they heard the door slam shut and a bag drop to the floor
"Daddy" Addison said worried
"It's ok, he probably just had a bad day, go to sleep ok"
"Ok, tell daddy I love him"
"I will" she said kissing her forehead, she shut the door slightly and walked down the stairs. Sidney was sitting on the couch, his head back and eyes closed "Sid"
"What!" He snapped, she sighed
"Everything ok" she asked sitting down next to him
"Does it look like everything is ok"
"Do you want to talk about it"
"NO!" He said closing his eyes
"Sid...."
"Jessica I want to be left alone!" He said, she bit her lip and got up before the tears fell. He opened his eyes and watched her go up the stairs. He ran his fingers through his hair, guilt washing over him.
When he walked up stairs an hour later, he heard the shower running, he sat on the edge of the bed and waited for her to come out.
Once she opened the bathroom door, he looked up. She looked at him before walking around the bed to the closet

"Sidney don't" she said softly
"Just listen please"
"I just want to go to bed" she said, he sighed and laid back
"I'm sorry, I'm so stressed. With the babies coming soon, and not being able to play, then there is my grandmother being ill and not I'm not able to be home"
"Sidney I'm sorry your stressed but I can't be stressed because your stressed. I have 2 babies I have to look out for plus 2 other children" she said "and your grandmother. You know I love her, and I love you as well and you know I'm here for you to cry on and to talk to but this isn't really about her or the babies it's about hockey.....it's always about hockey" she said, Sidney sat up and looked at her, she crawled into bed and turned her lamp off, and without a word she was asleep.
"Daddy" he heard, he opened his eyes to see Addison
"Good morning" he said
"Are you better today" she asked, he narrowed his eyes and looked at her "yesterday you were in a bad mood when you came home, I heard you slam the door" she said, he blushed. "You weren't mad at mommy where you" she asked
"What, no" he said sitting up "come here" he said patting the bed, she crawled up and sat next to him "sweetie sometimes daddy's work stresses him out" he said, she said "but just because I'm stressed doesn't mean I'm upset with mommy, and it doesn't mean I'm upset with you, or Greyson"
"What about MaKenna and Keegan"
"Of course not, I love the 5 of you more than I have ever loved anything" he said
"Even hockey"
"Even hockey" he said, Addison smiled "where is mommy"
"She's downstairs, she's not feeling good"

"She keeps holding her tummy like the babies are hurting her" Addison said, Sidney jumped up, Addison quickly behind him

"Shhh" she said from her laying position on the couch, her eyes where closed, and she had a rag against her forehead
"Are you ok" he asked kneeling next to her, he touched her cheek lightly, she opened her eyes and sighed
"No, it's hurts"

"Everywhere" she said
"Why didn't you come get me" he asked
"I couldn't make it up the stairs sid" she said
"Let's get you to the doctor and get you looked at"
"You have therapy"
"I'll cancel, hold on and I will call your doctor and see if Nathalie can come watch the kids" he said she nodded. A few minutes later Sidney walked back to the couch "we got an appointment in 45 minutes, Nathalie will be here in 5" he said she nodded
"Will you grab my phone and my bag"
"Where is it"
"Upstairs"
"Ya be right back" he said running off, Addison leaned over the couch

"I love you too sweetie" she said forcing a painful smile
"Mommy hurt" Greyson said
"No sweetie mommy will be alright" she said kissing his face, the doorbell rang and both kids looked at Jessica
"I got it" Sidney said running down the stairs "hey Nat thank you so much"

"Me too, kids have a bag packed just incase"
"You 2 just go get checked out and Mario and I will take the kids over night no matter what, give you 2 some peace and quiet, she needs it" Nathalie said, Sidney smiled

"Anytime sweetie. Addy, Greys, iceburgh you ready to go visit pawpaw Mario"
"Yes" Greyson and Addison cheered, as iceburgh barked, Jessica winced
"Give mommy some love and say see you tomorrow" Nathalie said
"Bye mommy, I love you, feel better" Addison said, Jessica smiled

"Don't be sad Greys, mommy is just going to see if everything is okay with brother and sister"

"Ya, were gonna be released in a few, she's stressed and it's causing the babies to stress so they put her on bed rest"

"Oh hi mom, am I on speaker"
"Yes you are" she said, Sidney chuckled "is she ok? Are the babies ok"
"Yes, everyone is ok"
"Well son, we have something to tell you" Troy said

"Your grandmother, she might not make it through the night"

"Yea, she got worse overnight"
"I'll try to be there"
"You need to be with Jess, she needs you" Trina said
"I'll talk to her" Sidney said a tear rolling down
"Sid, papers are signed" Jessica said as the nurse pushed her into the room
"I will call later, love you, bye" he said hanging up, he looked away from his phone and forced smiled "so she is all mine now, I can take her home
"Yes you may" the nurse said, Jessica narrowed her eyebrows and the nurse left
"Sidney, what's wrong"
"Nothing baby let's get you home" he said
"No you've been crying"
"I will tell you at home ok, I'm ok, your ok and all of our kids are ok and that's what matters" he said "I promise I will tell you when we get home" he said, she nodded.
The car ride home was silent. Sidney chewed on his nails which told Jessica the news was pretty intense. Once they got home Sidney helped Jessica to the king size bed downstairs, she was told not to do stairs and lucky for them they had another master bedroom on the 1st floor.
"Sid" Jessica said as she got settled in the bed, her turned to look at him, the look on his face breaking her heart making her forget about their problems "what's going on" she asked, he walked to the bed.
"My grandmother took a turn for the worst, she might not make it through the night" he said a tear rolling down his face
"Oh no, Sidney I'm so sorry, come here" she said, he crawled in the bed next to her and they both cuddled into each other "go home, be with everyone" she said
"I can't leave you, your on bed rest"
"Maybe I can stay at Mario and Nathalie's" she said, he nodded "they can help, they are always willing to help"
"I know but I don't want to leave you right now"
"But your parents need you and if I could I would be there in a heartbeat next to you"
"I know" he sighed "let's take a nap, I didn't sleep well last night with you being mad at me" he said looking at her, she smiled
"Well stop being a butthead" she said, Sidney laughed

"How did I get so lucky to find you" he said she smiled
"Enough with the sappy stuff, I'm already pregnant" she said, he laughed
"I will call my parents when we wake up and then Mario and we will go from there" he said, she nodded and cuddled into him even more before closing her eyes.
