Stay

It had been a month since the birth of the twins, and inside the Crosby household things where different, much different. Addison was a lot more sassy, Greyson was getting into everything, Keegan was fussy a lot, and Jessica was depressed. Sidney was running a house all by himself as well as the stress of hockey.

He sighed as he walked into the house, to his surprise Addison and Greyson where on the couch watching TV.

"Hey bub" he heard, he turned to see Taylor

"Wh...what are you doing here" he asked hugging her

"I wanted to help so I called Mario and he picked me up this morning. I know how hard this has been for you guys and I just wanted to be here" she said, Sidney smiled and hugged her again "if I'm stepping on any boundaries let me know, Mario said I could stay with him"

"No....no...your fine" Sidney said sitting down, Taylor sat next to him

"What's wrong"

"I'm loosing her" Sidney said running his hands threw his hair "she's so depressed, she barely eats, barely gets up. She doesn't speak, she's barely alive" he said

"I can't say anything cause I don't know what she is going through but have you asked her to go talk to someone"

"No, her doctor advised to give her a few weeks at home with Keegan and see what happens" he said

"Well my season is over so I can stay for however long you need me, we will get her out of this" she said, Sidney forced a smile

"I'm glad your here tay"

"Me too" she said

"Daddddyyyy" Addison yelled running into the kitchen

"Hi sweetheart"

"Mommy is still sick" Addison said

"She upstairs?" Sidney asked, Addison nodded her head as the cries of a newborn filled the room, after several seconds of Keegan still screaming, Sidney jumped up and ran up stairs "Jess" he said opening the door "Jess, Keegan is screaming are you just gonna let him scream" he said getting upset. He walked to the crib next to the bed and picked up the small baby. Jessica continued to stare at the wall.

"Daddy here" Addison said handing him a bottle

"Thanks sweetheart" he said sitting in the chair "go downstairs for me"

"Yes sir" she said

Sidney looked down at his son and carefully placed the bottle in his mouth. He looked at his wife who was laying in the bed. She looked horrible, it was like she wasn't there.

"Sid" Taylor said, Sidney looked at the door? Taylor frowned "let me take him" she said, Sidney nodded and stood up. He handed over Keegan and looked at his wife one more time before walking out of the room.

"I will be back" he said, Taylor nodded

"Hey sid" Nathalie said

"Can I talk to you please" he asked, Mario looked up

"Have a seat" she said, Sidney sat down and ran his fingers through his hair

"What's going on? You look like your about to explode" Mario said

"I....I don't know what to do, Jess....she....she's like a zombie, her body is there but she isn't" he said

After Sidney explained what was going on at home, Mario and Nathalie looked at each other

"I can't say give it time, but have you tried to talk to her" Nathalie asked

"Yes but when I do Greyson is getting into something or Addison is acting bratty, then Keegan starts crying" he said

"Taylor is there now, I think you should try again"

"Maybe if I get her away from everything for a few days while Taylor is here" he said

"Possibly, Sidney you have to remember, she didn't get to grieve. She had to go home without a baby she carried, to 2 other children and a newborn" Nathalie said, Sidney nodded and wiped away a tear

"I just want her to be ok"

"We all do son" Mario said

"And she will with time, she is always going to hurt and so are you, but together you will raise your beautiful family and together you will have each other to lean on" she said, Sidney said

"Looking at her, she's so pale, she's lost so much weight, she's lifeless"

"Get her up, take her to do things she likes, things you did together as boyfriend and girlfriend. Things you love together" Mario said, Sidney nodded and stood up

"Can you keep a eye on Taylor and the kids for a few days" he asked

"Bring them all over here" Nathalie said, Sidney nodded and ran out the door.

"Taylor you and the kids are going to stay at Mario and Nats for a few days" Sidney said running in the house

"Ok, but why"

"I'm taking Jess somewhere"

"Oh? Where"

"Myrtle Beach, it's where we went on our first getaway together, I'm going to bring her back" he said with a smile, Taylor smiled as he ran to his office

"Plane tickets, car, hotel" she said as he got on his computer

"Ah what's that hotel we stayed at, damn it was on the boardwalk" he said tapping his pen "ah Marina Inn and Grande Dunes" he said excitedly "club suite with a king sized bed and fireplace" he said submitting his request "I'm getting my wife back"

"I will go pack the kids stuff" she said squeezing his shoulder. One everything was booked and paid for he ran upstairs

"Baby" he said, she looked at the door "how are you doing" he asked kneeling infront of her, she shrugged

"You and I are going to go away for the weekend" he said, she raised an eyebrow "were going to have a good time, no kids, just you and me"

"We can't leave"

"Yes we can, Taylor is here and Mario and Nathalie are going to help with the kids" he said "it's booked and paid for" he said

"Sidney. I"

"No, come on go shower and get dressed, I will pack for you. Please. Do this for me, you and I both need this" he said, she nodded and he helped her sit up "thank you" he said, she nodded and slowly walked to the bathroom. Sidney jumped up and walked to the closet

"Everything is packed" Taylor said as he walked into the kitchen

"Perfect now I just need the mrs and were good to go" he said looking at his watch "and there she is" Sidney said looking at the stairs, Taylor smiled and grabbed Keegan

"Mommy" Greyson said, she bent over and picked him up before kissing his head

"Ready" Sidney asked

"Ya" she sighed "where are we going"

"First to take the kids to Mario and Nathalie's. Second, to the airport. And third, to the place we spent our very first getaway together" he said leaning down to kiss her

"Myrtle?"

"Yes, because you deserve it, and I want my wife back as hopefully being there I will get her back" he said, Jessica frowned and walked away. Sidney sighed frustratedly but turned to the door.
