"Jess ok?" Vero asked, Sidney looked outside to see her staring at the kids in the pool. He poured the margaritas and looked at Vero.

"Do you know Claire?" He asked, Vero chuckled

"Yes what about her?"

"I think she is trying to sabatoge my marriage" he said, Vero looked at him. "What?"

"Sounds about right" she said "I don't know why Jess invited her, probably just to be nice but I don't trust her as far as I can throw her"

"Something was said, and I walked up but Jessica was alone and I asked her what's wrong and she just walked away"

"Was that when Claire left cause she left before anyone"

"Probably" he said with a shrug

"I'll talk to her" Vero said with a smile, she grabbed a few margaritas and walked outside, a few seconds later Nathalie, Mario and Marc walked in to grab handfuls.

"Your missing a few?" Mario said

"We have a game tomorrow Marc and I can't drink" Sidney said with a smile, Mario smiled.

"You ok?"

"Yea I just need to find time to talk to Jessica. I want her to come to the game tomorrow, and bring everyone. If she does I need to find someone to watch the kids"

"Lauren, Stephanie or Alexa" Mario said, Sidney chuckled

"They wouldn't mind?"

"One of them has to be free. Alexa is here so I will ask her"

"Let me talk to Jess first" Sidney said, Mario nodded and they walked out to the backyard, the sun was fading quick and the air felt amazing. Sidney sat down in the chair next to Jessica, she smiled lightly when he rested his hand on her thigh. Troy had a sleeping Keegan. Alexa and Austin where in the pool with Addison, Stella and Greyson

"Papa Mario when I grow up I'm gonna be a hockey player like you, daddy, and grandpa" Greyson said hanging onto the edge

"Oh you are?" Mario asked, everyone chuckled

"And I'm going to be a dancer" Addison said

"Me too" Stella said

"I love you" Sidney whispered, Jessica smiled and looked at him

"I love you too" she said, he smiled

"What happened today?" he asked

"I can't be friends with Claire"

"Why?"

"She is messy, trying to ruin our marriage. She told me you asked her to drinks and stuff, which I know is a lie" she said, Sidney nodded.

"I would never do that"

"I know you wouldn't Sid, I saw the way she was looking at you. I was trying to respect our daughters party" she said. Sidney smiled.

"One more day and we are Florida free" he said, she nodded

"Don't get hurt tomorrow please, I know you guys are playing Columbus and they have Brandon Dubinsky now" she said, Sidney rolled his eyes playfully "you got into fights with him when he was a ranger" she said

"Babe I've only been in 6 fights since 2005" he said

"I know, I'm just saying"

"Come tomorrow"

"Sid"

"Please, it's my last game before were off almost 2 weeks, you haven't been to a game since you were a few months pregnant" he said

"I don't know if I'm ready for the paparazzi"

"That's why you will be in the suites with everyone" he said

"I don't want the kids to go right now"

"Alexa will watch them" he said, she frowned

"They will follow me into the stadium like they always do" she said, Sidney sighed and nodded

"Ok, it's ok" he said forcing a smile, he looked at his kids swimming in the pool

"Ok, I will go"

"Really?" He asked

"Yes, your my husband, and I'm your biggest fan. I've taken time away from your hockey life scared for my own but it's time. I have you to lean on" she said, Sidney smiled and leaned over to kiss her

"Thank you" he said, she nodded.

"Babe" Sidney yelled walking downstairs in his suit and bag

"Kitchen" she yelled back.

"I'm gone" he said grabbing a water from the fridge. She was in jeans, her crosby jersey and black nike shoes. He smiled. A chorus of good lucks went around the kitchen. Jerseys and shirts with the number 87 where on everyone. Sidney smiled.

"Daddy" Addison said walking in with her stuffed animal "good luck tonight" she said, Sidney smiled and squatted down

"Thank you baby" he said hugging her

"Can you wear this tie" she asked holding up a light purple tie, he looked at his grey suit and nodded

"Of course I can" he said "can you help me put it on" he asked she nodded and he helped her help him.

"He is so perfect" Nikki said, Jessica smiled and nodded. He stood up and grabbed his stuff

"See you guys after" he said hugging everyone. "I love you"

"I love you, good luck" Jessica said kissing him. He walked to the livingroom and kissed Keegan and Greyson before thanking Alexa and walking out of the house.

"Don't talk to anyone and don't listen to anyone" Nathalie said, Jessica took a deep breathe and nodded. The car pulled up and sure enough paparazzi where there waiting. She jumped out of the tahoe and shut the door as cameras flooded her face

"Back up guys" she heard, she looked up and saw Troy and Mario reach for her, Mario put his arm around her as Troy got the cameras away. Nathalie and the rest of the family not far behind.

"Move" Paul demanded trying to catch up to his daughter.

"Keep your head down were almost there" Mario said, she did what she was told and drowned out the questions. Everything was becoming a blur, she just wanted to be inside away from them.

"Sidney" Mike said, Sidney looked up from tying his skates "can you come here for a second"

"What's going on?" Sidney asked confused

"Jessica is here and the paparazzi had a field day with her, she has security with her at the suite to keep them away" he said

"Oh god, ok"

"It's ok, we took immediate action" he said, Sidney nodded

"Is she ok? Is she upset"

"She's ok. Mario and your dad where there when she got here" he said, Sidney nodded

"I just wanted you to know that way you don't hear something random" he said

"Thank you Mike" Sidney said, mike nodded and walked out. Sidney took a deep breathe and went back to his locker

"What's going on" Marc asked

"Paparazzi had a field day with Jess when she arrived"

"Is she ok?"

"Ya, she has security by the door now" he said leaning back

"Good thing we go on vacation tomorrow" Marc said, Sidney smiled and nodded his head

"It's definitely needed" he said

"Alright guys listen up" Mike yelled walking in the room

"You ok?" Diane asked, Jessica nodded and took a drink of her water

"Ya mom I'm fine"

"I wanted to kill everyone" Ben said

"Thanks bub, but really it's ok" she said with a smile "it's my first time out after MaKenna where they can get me alone so we expected this" she said tapping his leg, the lights went off and everyone stood up. She clapped as the faces of the guys appeared on the jumbo tron, and the music blared through the arena. Once the video stopped the lights went out and the lets go pens chant started. The sirens began to blare and the strobe lights began to circle. Columbus came out and boos where heard. She looked up as they showed the guys walking down the hall. She smiled seeing Sidney, she wasn't going to let earlier stand in her way of having a good time.

"Your starting line up for the Pittsburgh Penguins" they heard. When Sidney's name was called the stadium erupted, both families cheered loudly. Diana rubbed her back and she smiled proudly.

After the first the score was 1-1, Brandon was playing very dirty, and Sidney had pushed him off several times. She could tell he was extremely annoyed by the way he was playing.

"Sidney is fighting" Nathalie said, everyone jumped up as the screens showed Sidney throwing punches at Brandon, Jessica covered her mouth and her eyes widened. Once they pulled Sidney off he angrily stormed off the ice and threw his stick, he walked towards the tunnel.

"Where is he going Troy?" Trina asked, everyone stood there in complete shock. Without hesitation Jessica took off running out of the suite, she didn't wait for the elevator, she took the stairs straight to the basement. She showed her lanyard and the guard let her pass, once she got to the locker room the guy stood up

"I need to see Sidney"

"I'm sorry ma'am your not allowed down here" he said, she froze and looked at him

"Damn right I'm allowed down here, that's my husband, I can and will talk to him whenever I damn well please" she said getting pissed off. All she wanted was to see him, something in him wasn't right and she knew she would be the only one to calm him down

"It's ok, let her in" she heard, she turned to see Mario

"Yes sir" he said stepping to the side, Jessica looked at Mario

"You go calm him down, he needs you. I will be right here" he said she nodded and turned to the door. She looked at the guard and raised her eyebrow before opening the door. Sidney was at his locker, one of the coaches, someone from the medical staff, and his agent trying to talk to him

"Sid" she said, Sidney jumped up

"Jess" he said, she could tell he was about to loose it, she ran to him and hugged him tightly

"It's ok sweetheart I'm right here" she said

"Let's give them a few moments" pat said turning to the door

"Sidney sit down" she said, he sat down and she pulled up the chair to sit closely in front of him "look at me are you ok" she said looking at his face, she moved the shaggy hair and examined him

"I'm fine" he said with a sniffle

"What happened?"

"I know that the paparazzi harassed you coming in, then Dubinsky was making all these uncalled for remarks about how you finally escaped the Crosby dungeon and that I finally let you out of the house and all this shit and I finally snapped" he said, she rubbed his face.

"I hope you gave him a black eye" she said with a smile, Sidney cracked a smile and they both chuckled

"Normally I never let the shit talking get to me, but this felt personal, it was the first attack on my family" he said, she nodded

"This game is almost over, after the penalty do me a favor?"

"What?"

"Whoop their ass and win this game" she said, Sidney smiled "now get out there, hold your head up and be the Sidney Crosby I know" she said, Sidney nodded and stood up

"I love you"

"I love you" she said kissing him.

"Ready" Mario asked as they walked out

"Ya" Sidney said smiling at Jessica, she smiled and watched Sidney walk off

"Mario go with him, I will be back ok?"

"Ok" he said confused. Jessica turned and walked the opposite direction.

She stood facing the home side, Columbus's back to her, several people beginning to notice her, she saw a older guy in a Crosby jersey behind the penalty box. She smiled and walked down the stairs

"Excuse me sir" she said he turned and his mouth dropped "do you have a sharpie I can borrow"

"Ya...yes" he said

"Can I also borrow your sign?"

"Sure" he said, by this time the crowd was staring, she fiercely wrote on the back and walked past several people she banged on the glass and put up the sign

"Hey Brandon!" She said he turned as the camera caught what was going on and the crowd busted out in cheers "that's right" she said with a smile, 'AT LEAST SIDNEY HAS A WIFE, WHAT DO YOU HAVE? GO FUCK YOURSELF! MY KIDS CAN FIGHT BETTER THAN YOU CAN! LOVE MRS CROSBY' she flipped him the bird with a smile and walked away. Everyone cheered and clapped. Sidney laughed from the pens side along with all the guys. She gave the guy the sign back along with a high five "thank you"

"That was amazing" he said, the crowd was now on their feet as she walked up the stairs, and with a smile she walked back to the suite.

Once inside everyone turned to her, her siblings jumped for joy, Mario was trying not to smile. Nathalie and Vero where laughing. Diane and Trina just shrugged, Paul grabbed her and hugged her, Troy on the other hand wouldn't even look at her. She sat down and went over what just happened in her head, she hoped Sidney wasn't mad and that Pat could fix the mess she probably just caused.
