"I don't know Sid, but I don't like it" she said with a sniffle
"It use to not be this way"
"I know, but it use to not be this hard Sidney" she said, he looked at her

"Sidney when we found out we were having Addison I was so incredibly excited, scared yes, but I thought my heart was going to burst I was so happy. When you would leave I would feel lonely, going from traveling with you to raising an infant was a big change, luckily she was a good baby, then Greyson came and I felt helpless, I had double on my hands, seems like you are away more than you are home"
"But I'm not"
"But it feels like that cause I have 2 kids"
"We have 2 kids jessica not just you, we as in you and I, me and you, Jessica and Sidney, mr and mrs crosby" he said she looked at him "do you think it's easy being gone from you, let alone my family" he said, she looked down "I miss you every second I'm not with you, I'm terrified I'm going to miss something with Addison and Greyson" he said tears forming in his eyes, Jessica swallowed the lump in her throat
"Sid...I" she started
"What do you want me to do Jess? Please tell me. I will do whatever it takes to help our marriage" he said tears slowly rolling down his face, her heart broke "I will quit hockey if that means my family will be whole"
"You can't quit hockey" she said wiping her eyes
"Baby please, what can I do to make this better"
"I don't know" she said, he leaned against the counter "I'm tired, I'm trying to be a good mother and a good wife but I feel like I'm failing. I feel like I'm letting addy down and then I forget stupid things to tell you and then we argue"
"Jessica you are the most incredible wife, I couldn't have asked for a better one, and you are the most amazing mother to our children, your tired and stressed. I know it's not easy doing this alone, look I promise i will try to be home more. Work more from home, exorcise at home more instead of the facility....anything to be there, to see you, see our kids, I love you more than anything" he said taking her hand, she caught her breath as Sidney stepped closer, he hugged her tightly as she sobbed in his chest
"I'm trying, I promise I'm trying" she said
"You are wonderful, I will try harder I promise" he said, he pushed her back a little before wiping her tears "I love you so much Mrs. Crosby"
"I love you too" she said, he smiled and kissed her gently
"We have no kids for the night, let's watch a movie, cuddle in bed, and sleep holding each other tight" he said, she nodded "go get ready for bed, I will finish here" he added, she nodded again and walked away. Pulling his phone out he text his mom. Once he was finished he walked up stairs to his wife who was waiting to be held
